Race With the Demon

It was late at night and April, Casey and Donnie were out to buy groceries. The others were left behind to keep an eye on the house... AND to relax of course

They were all watching Crognard the Barbarian

"Dude, that centaur doesn't stand a chance against Crognard the Barbarian!" Mikey shouted with excitement as he did a heroic pose

Then instantly, the show got cut off by a news report

"Breaking news. A word of morning for those planning on driving tonight, stay home. Reports are coming in of a mysterious driver running people off the road"

"That qualifies breaking news out here?" Raph asked

"I guess" Nuwa shrugged

"Back in the city every driver is a reckless driver, bring back Crognard!" Mikey yelled, when they heard the front door open

"It was him. That's the maniac who nearly trashed us!"

They turned around and saw April, Casey and Donnie walking inside with the groceries

"You ran into that nut?!" Leo asked

"More like he ran into us, over and over! We gotta get back out there and teach that guy a lesson!" Casey sneered

"Casey, it's not worth it. Just be glad we're all ok" April sighed as she put down the groceries

"Yeah, we're mostly ok. I got shell-lash trying to save all the food!" Donnie groaned as he rubbed the back of his head

"A noble sacrifice, D" Mikey replied as he hugged the bag with groceries

"Your neck ok, Donnie?" April asked as she massaged Donnie's neck

"Ooh, Ooh, yeah. A little lower, oh yeah, that's hitting the spot" Donnie sighed as Casey just groaned irritated and crossed his arm

"You really want your neck to be ok, let me do it" Nuwa offered as April took a step back, allowing Nuwa to do her task

Nuwa placed her thumbs on the center of Donnie's neck and pressed really hard on it, making a snap-like sound and Donnie yelled in pain

Casey just laughed his head off and April giggled, slowly turning into laughter

"I think you'd make a great masseur" Mikey smirked as Donnie grumbled while rubbing his neck

While Mikey, Raph, Donnie and Casey were out to do a test drive with Casey's self made car. April, Nuwa and Leo were staying at the farmhouse

"You guys think Casey will succeed with his fixed car?" Leo asked as Nuwa replied while holding Nao Nao in her arms

"I hope so. Or do you think he went after that road maniac? Because it's really typical of Casey to act so impulsive"

"The guys are making sure he won't do that, they're just out there for a test drive, nothing more" April answered

"But I think you do have a point, Nuwa. Casey can be a little impulsive at some points" Leo admitted

Then instantly, they heard the sound up the Party Wagon pull up with Casey's car attached to the back and the three of them walked outside

"Casey!" April called as she, Nuwa and Leo hurried over to the group

"Are you ok?" She asked, followed by Leo

"What happened?"

"Speed Demon too, Casey Jones zip" Donnie glared at Casey

"You went after that guy?" April asked as she frowned at Casey

"I just knew it" Nuwa sighed deeply

"The cops can't catch him, someone's gotta bring that mutant down!" Casey replied logically yet stubbornly
