Harry pulled back from the hug with an astonished look on his face. But that smile soon turned to a frown.
"What are you doing here?" He said with a stern tone of voice.
"I wanted to see you." I replied.
"But why?"
"Do I need a reason?" I raised an eyebrow.
"You've been gone years and suddenly you want to see me. Yeah, I think you do."
"Your fathers passing must.." So I tried to give him a reason but I just couldn't.
"You need to go."
"Har-"
"I said go." Harry turned away from me and began walking back to his desk.
"Oh, don't be like that." I scoffed and followed behind him.
"I don't want to call security on you, Sophie."
"You wouldn't dare."
"Call my bluff." He muttered. And so I did. That's when he pushed his finger down on a button that was built into the table, "I need security." He said.
"Are you kidding me?" I started to raise my voice. "You can't be serious."
Harry sat down on his desk and took a sip of the whiskey that sat there next to him. He eyes stayed burning into mine.
I stormed up to him to give him a piece of my mind. "After all this time I thought you would've matured just a tiny bit but it seems you're still the same stuck up, stubborn motherf-" But I was stopped in my tracks when I noticed something when I got close.
"Your neck." I reached out my arm to move his shirt so I could get a better look. "What is that?"
Harry suddenly grabbed my arm with a tight grip. "Leave."
"Ow- you're hurting me, Harry." I was terrified.
Sure, Harry and I always had our squabbles but he'd never stoop to being physical with me. My eyes began to water as I tried to wriggle out of his grasp. "Let me go!"
And then he did once he saw my tears.
I stood there in shock, holding my wrist that was now a bright red color. That's when two security guys burst through the doors and stormed up to me. But all I could focus on was the woman that entered with them. She was tall, blonde and oddly familiar.
I turned back to Harry who was just staring with a blank look on his face. "You should've left when I told you to." He whispered.
"Hey, honey!" The woman chirped as she walked up and kissed Harry on the cheek. I squinted. She noticed me standing there and as she leant on his shoulder she asked "Who is this?" with a smile plastered on her face.
"An old.. friend." Harry turned to her smiling back. "She was just leaving."
"Ah- I see. Well, incase we bump into each other again my name is Poppy." She held her hand out to shake mine. "I'm Harry's fiancée."
"Poppy?" I winced.
"Yes." She laughed awkwardly. "Isn't that what I just said?"
"You've got to be shitting me." I scoffed.
"I beg your pardon?" She sounded offended and rightly so I guess.
The next thing I knew the two security men came up and grabbed one of my arms each and began dragging me away. I kicked and wriggled out of their grip. "I can walk myself." I spat.
