Wrong timing.
My neck gasped for breath as he held my throat captive.
The dagger was stabbed deep into his chest.
But not the heart.
He squeezed tighter.
"Beg, pet, beg me to save your life." he said playfully, pulling the dagger out.
"N-No....N-Never....." I stammered and I heard the other hybrids coming.
"DON'T MOVE! OR ELSE I'LL KILL THIS FOX!" Mas- Suco shouted.
I heard the footsteps stepping back slowly.
"Give her back." Bronze said in fury.
"I'll keep her alive. Go." Suco said, baring his teeth as I struggled.
"I-I'll k-kill you S-Suco..." I said between my heavy breathes.
Bronze and the others carried Lily and Sanguis back.
"We'll come back." Bronze muttered under her breath and with a flick of her mane, they were gone.
Suco's hand relaxed and I fell to the floor.
"You wanted to leave me....did you?" Suco asked, waiting for the obvious answer.
"Why wouldn't I?" I growled at him.
"Very disobedient.....you know, I haven't drank in days..." he said with a smirk.
"Don't you dare....fight me if you can, coward!" I barked, standing up.
In a flash, I felt a punch in my stomach and fell to the floor.
"I dare." Suco said and I felt myself pushed against a tree.
Fangs sank in my neck as I squirmed.
This nostalgic pain....
I slowly gave up my body.
He drank thirstily, I'm surprised I'm not dead yet.
As my vision began to blur, he stopped.
"You taste the same." he said and walked to grab a log to sit on.
Weak and unable to move, all I do is stare at him while he roasts some food.
"Eat." he said but I refuse.
I would never eat anything he touches.
Never again.
He forcefully opens my mouth and I gave a growl of pain.
"Eat." he said firmly and I gave a bite.
A small one.
He sighed.
"I don't want to kill you, Blue." he said.
I stayed silent.
I just wanted to get out of here.
"Idris is probably dead, so is everyone. The balance of hybrids and demons is gone, can't you see that?" he said eating the rest of the meat.
''Balance?" I muttered.
"Do you mean by the unbalanced system is now not on your side?" I asked.
"You hybrids are supposed to be inferior." He said.
"No! We aren't! Why can we take over you now!" I shouted.
"You took the Stone. You hybrids.... It was our source of power!'
My body fell down in shock.
"You never had real power." I said, realising this.
The Stone must be crushed. Soon.
Or else the hybrids and demons will never balanced.
