Third Person pov:

Bruce Wayne is tired. He didn't get much sleep after patrol last night, and coming into the office only to have to sort through hundreds of essays is not how he wants to spend his day.He could be working on that case the Riddler is a suspect in, but no... he has essays to look at.

Starting to regret thinking of this stupid contest in the first place, he shuffles through another terrible paper full of self important tangents. These kids don't seem to grasp that it's not all about them, and it's exhausting to have to read.

Just as he's about to take a much needed break, Bruce stumbles across an essay with a letter attached. Intrigued, he glances over the neat handwriting. It's better than most of the writing already... Showing a rare moment of emotion, Bruce lets a small smile overtake his features.

This girl seems to really care about her classmate's accomplishments. She seems proud of them, but there's something not quite right... almost a detached feeling, like she doesn't see herself as part of the group.

Bruce is more and more invested the farther he reads, and allows his small smile to grow as he reaches the end of the letter. It's adorable and well thought out.

This girl, Marinette, seems to be genuine. She talks about everything her class has done and why she thinks it would be good for them to come to Gotham.

She seems to have done her research on the city as well, which is fascinating for someone from another country. Most people don't want to know much about Gotham other than what to avoid, but Marinette listed the things she was interested in seeing in Gotham and all the good qualities the city has going for it. He didn't realize there were any good parts of the city.

Bruce texted his sons a picture of the letter and her essay to get their opinions. The essay itself was incredible, but the letter ensured that he thought she deserved to win. He hoped his sons agreed with him.

B: sent two images

Dickiebird: Who is this girl?

Zombie: Yeah, who looks at Gotham with this much positivity?

Replacement: Who hid the coffee pot?!!

Zombie: I did. Alfred said no more coffee until you sleep and eat something healthy.

Replacement: BETRAYAL!!! I trusted you...smh.

Demon: Refrain from using such idiotic acronyms in my presence, Drake. It's childish.

Replacement: It's not childish, you just have a stick up your ass.

B: Boys...

Demon: Apologies father.

Replacement: Sorry, Bruce.

Zombie: So... Back to the essay thing, did she win?

Dickiebird: She better win. This girl sounds adorable!

B: Yes, I believe I'll choose her as the winner. Tim, I want you to coordinate the class trip with her via email. I'll be sending her your email address, so look for her message.

Replacement: You got it, B!

Dickiebird: I'm so excited!

Dickiebird: This is gonna be awesome!

Demon: I disagree.
