Hailey
Today is Wednesday and I'm feeling fine after that two-days rest. Nasa library kame ni Maxine at hindi niya ako gaanong inuutusan so masyado akong pabebe today. She's busy reading her books, napapalingon lahat ng mga guys na dumadaan sa table namin because she's wearing a formal outfit today, mukha siyang model sa magazine to be really honest.
"Why are you staring?" nagulat ako ng napatingin siya sakin, bagay din sakanya ang red lipstick. maybe it taste like cherries.. or strawberry?
"Nothing, you look good today" she was taken aback but she immediately composed herself
"You should stop staring, people might think that you got a crush on me" she said and rested her chin on her palm
"Hmm pag-isipan ko yung crush.." I teased her.
"Sorry I'm already taken" she winked then bit her lip. What's with Miss Sharon's water today???
"Taken pero hinalikan ako?" I gave her a teasing smile then bit my lower lip before looking away and flipping the page of my book.
She's silent.. dead silent—it's odd?
Nagulat siya at nag iwas ng tingin akala niya di ko maaalala ang nangyare sa parking lot? How can I forget that kiss?? Out of all the people I've kissed? I can say that she's the best—No malice naman sakin kase pareho kameng lasing pero minsan pag nakakatabi ko siya parang gusto ko siyang halikan yung tipong tatahimik siya kapag nagsusungit siya.
"You're a sly fox" she said and continued reading, I'm obviously giggling while biting the tip of my pen. It's funny how she can't say anything afterwards.
"Maxine" napalingon kameng pareho sa tumawag sakanya.
A tall, handsome and chinito buff guy.. ito yung klase ng guys na type ko eh. I brushed my hair back using my free hand and continued reading—kunware studious tayo dito.
Naramdaman ko yung pagsipa ni Maxine sa shin ko kaya tiniis kong hindi mapasigaw kaya tinitigan ko siya ng masama.
"Andrew" Maxine coldly answered
"Hi Hailey" bati ni Andrew kaya nagulat akong kilala niya ako so I pointed at myself
"Hello, do I know you from somewhere?" I'm amused, I can see how she rolled her eyes
"Ah.. same department tayo nung College, I've seen all of your matches" he said and gave me a toothy grin
"He's been a fan of yours" Maxine said kaya napakamot ng ulo si Andrew sa hiya
"I haven't played for a long time" Parang nag playback sa memories ko yung mga araw na naglalaro pa kame ni Sky ng Volleyball.
"I thought you'll play on Pro stage with Skylar but both of you didn't" he said with a hint of sadness..
"I kinda missed it to be honest, anyway.. it was nice meeting you, Andrew" I offered my hand kaya nagpunas siya ng kamay bago niya hawakan ang kamay ko.
"N-nice meeting you too" he said
"Why are you here ba?" Inis na tanong ni Maxine kaya nabitawan agad ni Andrew ang kamay ko
"Hanap ka kase ng Dad mo sakin eh" he said saka nagpalipat lipat ng tingin samin, nakita ko din yung pag-iba ng aura ni Maxine.
"I'll call him later, so if you're done with the mini fan meeting.. please go away" nako talaga tong babaeng to sobrang panira ng timing, lahat ng tao sinusungitan.
"Okay. I'll see you on Friday! Sorry istorbo ako sa study sesh nyo.. Bye Hailey" humarap siya sakin at ngumiti saka umalis
"What the hell was that?" I asked her kaya napaangat siya ng tingin sobrang bastos niya kase eh
