a/n this chapter is kind of boring i just needed to introduce cassidy 💀 this was originally chapter 2 but chapter 1 was painful to read due to the boring ass writing so i cut that bit out
𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 lightly shaking her, whispering her name
looking up, she saw sapnap who stepped back and stroked the stubble on his chin before putting his hand behind his neck
as she sat up the room started spinning and she stumbled back into her nightstand and knocking over an empty glass.
"hey, hey be careful.." Sapnap said softly catching her by the elbow and keeping his hands by her to help. the room went quiet except for the birds chirping outside.
"So... I was feeling a little ihop run" he said finally said, his smooth voice slicing through the quietness that blanketed her room
Julian plastered a grin on her face and tucked a hair behind her ear
"only if i can drive." she said, a giggle interrupting her words
"you're just asking for us to get a ticket" he teased, throwing her his keys

Sapnap and Julian sat in an almost empty ihop, skateboards leaning against their seats.
she kept catching sapnap's eye it looked like he wanted to say something but wouldn't, there was an awkward tension between the two this morning and she wasn't sure why. it felt heavy on her shoulders
before Julian got lost into her overthinking, their waiter arrived at their table. she looked about nick's age, maybe a little older. she had silky red hair that was tied into a low bun, her face adorned with freckles that dusted up into her sharp cheek bones
"Hi, welcome to Ihop. What can I do for you today?" she spoke sweetly, eyeing the boy sitting across from her. she wondered if they recognized him
"Uhm hi Cassidy" he said awkwardly, reading her name tag "can I get the country style breakfast Burrito bowl with a glass of water?" he asked and she nodded with a smile showcasing a faded dimple on her left cheek, writing on her notepad
"and what about you" She asked, turning her head to the julian scanning her menu
"Hi, can I have the pancakes and eggs combo with a glass of orange juice?" she said after a minute, setting her menu down
"of course" the waiter said again in a sing-song voice, writing her order down on the blue notepad "I'll have your drinks up in a moment" she said, walking back to the kitchen after collecting both menus
as she promised, she arrived shortly with their drinks
"thank you so much" Sapnap said, sliding his water towards him
while Julian took a picture of their food she heard laughs from the kitchen, looking up she saw the waitresses looking at her and instantly got uncomfortable so she ducked her head down slightly not sure what else to do
"are you okay?" he asked, softly grabbing her hand for a second from across the table
"i think the waitresses are making fun of me" Julian whispered, looking up at Sapnap
"Maybe they recognize us" he pointed out, cocking an eyebrow
"yeah, maybe.." Julian said, she wanted to say more but there wasn't really anything else to say
as she scrolled through her phone, more people arrived at the diner while the two waited for their food. it slowly got louder and louder, pissing off julian slightly.
Cassidy came back with their food and the two thanked her, realized there was a note tucked between the plates.
"What's that?" Julian asked
"probably her number, girls do this a lot. they think they'll get their streamer x reader fantasy fulfilled. she seemed pretty cool, though" he replied in a bored tone causing her to laugh
"well, read it fuckface" she told him impatiently
he unfolded the note and scanned over it slightly, pulling a face
"this must be a bad time to tell you... I don't know how to read" he told her
Julian laughed and snatched the note before reading it out loud,
"Hi Sapnap and Julian
me and my sister realized that we knew you two, but didn't want to say anything since there was so many people here. we didn't want to make you uncomfortable! we love your content sapnap and Julian you're so pretty! You have a great personality and I always laugh when you're on sapnap's streams, even if it's only for a couple seconds. you should start streaming too :)"

"are you gonna keep her number?" Julian questioned, leaning back into her seat after scanning over the post
"yeah, I think so" Sapnap replied, smiling down at his phone, causing her to smile too.
