Chapter - Five "Mom?"
DUMBLEDORE CALLED, THE MARAUDERS INTO HIS OFFICE, INCLUDING MCGONAGALL AND SNAPE. They didn't know why they all were there. Snape was staring at Lily all the time, trying to calm himself from asking anything. McGonagall was standing still as she knew, how and why they were here.
"Snape are you?" Marlene asked glancing at Snape, Lily hold her arm to pull her back but she shake off "What? I'm just asking a question" Marlene whispered to Lily
"Indeed Miss...?" Snape said as he was confused why the hack they were in 1996, still young.
"It's Miss Mackinnon, Mr I-didn't-get-the-girl" Marlene commented, making Sirius, James and Remus laugh, an evil one
Snape glanced at Marlene then at Lily, at James "You" Snape said coldly as he walked towards James but stopped as he saw Dumbledore
"Ah, Professor Snape, I hope you figure out who they are," Dumbledore said. It was not a question, Snape nodded
"But headmaster...how?" Snape whispered the last part looking at Lily
"oh yes, I'll tell you" then he turned toward McGonagall
"Professor McGonagall, I assume you're well aware of all this" Dumbledore said
"I sure am Albus" McGonagall turn to look at the Marauders
"Stole the time-turner from my office, fight over it and ended up here in 1996," She said in a strict voice
"Minnie is still the same" James whispered to Sirius and they let out a small giggle
"I- I'm sorry Professor, I told them not to...I- we all are sorry" Lily apologise,
'She is still the very same Lily I knew' Snape thought
"Why are we even here?" Asked Sirius, getting bored
"Mr Black, I call you all here to discuss a few things," Dumbledore said
"Professor McGonagall will you?" She nodded and walked in front. The marauders shared a confused look
"You all time travelled, 19 years in future. You mess with the time, with Ministery" McGonagall started looking at them in disappointment "Albus talked to the Mister, you all can go back but it will take months" No one said anything, they found the floor pretty interesting for some reason
"So...we can go back?" Lily asked
"I hope so" McGonagall replied
"what about Ministery aren't they--" Lily was cut by Dumbledore
"don't worry Miss Evans we took care of it"
"How things between Miss Greene and Mr Potter?" Dumbledore asked. The marauders knew what he was talking about
