Alex Quest (WORK IN PROGRESS!)

Chapter 2: Gas Gas Gas!

(yes the title is a reference)

Alex drove down the road from the CrossOver PentHouse to Fossils Gas n' Go. Fossils Gas n' go was your average run-of-the-mill gas station and general store. She went and parked in spot number 7, her favorite spot. The things she got for sunky's gift was some milk and cereal, his two favorite things . Alex also got herself a snack and drink: Some chocolate pocky and a cotton candy soda. The candy apple haired girl went to the counter and heard a voice.

"Welcome to Fossils Gas n' Go, where will will fuel your day. How may I help you?" The voice was a monotone and slightly exasperated voice, with a british accent, she recognized the voice. She looked up to see a creature with long red strands of some sort of hair or fur, no mouth visible whatsoever. "Harry?" "Alex? Is that-" Harry stopped mid sentence and looked at the lady in front of him. His eyes widened a bit, as if he was smiling. His hands danced a bit in the counter excitedly, as he wanted to catch up with the figure infront of them, "It is you! How has it been, Al?" "Ah, y'know me, jus doin errands." Harry looked at the stuff Alex was buying, "Who's the milk and cereal for? I never remembered you having children." He questioned.

"Well ya see, I have to get a gift for someone, and that someone in particular really likes milk and cereal." Alex explained, rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly. Harry chuckled, "Well that makes a load more sense! Anything else?" "Yeah, I need 5 gallons on pump 7" Alex requested. "Okay, that will be 7.45" Harry concluded, Alex payed the amount needed.

"Hey Harry" "Hm?" "How was life for you so far? Everything alright?" Alex questioned. Harry glanced, "Yeah everything's good. I'm just working this part-time to pay for things to be a short film maker." He spoke forth. "What about you?" Harry asked. Alex looked surprised, "Uh... Oh? Me? Well I DID want to be famous, but I settled on a night shift for a Pizza place" she admitted. Her eyes glanced away nervously, as she twirled her hair on a frantic panic.

Harry's voice went slightly monotone again, "That sounds really boring" "Well here's the kicker! The animatronics are haunted. Not to mention that at some point I worked at a fright attraction based of the same place! Oh it also burned down, I dunno why but it is what it is. Oh... Also some guy named William Afton died there after hurting some toddlers... or 5. But he died... A couple of times that is!" Alex laughed out hardily. Harry looked shocked, then concerned "Uh... I don't know what to say about that..." Harry muttered.

"And how are your friends? Manny and Robin" Alex queried. "Oh them? Well Robin is still in the hospital after the whole 'food episode' incident, and I sorta took many under my wing as a younger bother after figuring out the whole operation of a forced kid's show by his father. They both are going through therapy." Harry stated "Yikes! I can't imagine the shit they had to go through! Especially Robin!" Alex exclaimed with a look of concern, "Wait how did-" "I have no idea! One day Manny vomited an egg and robin came out, and it was weird. He had some wounds on him and we took him to the hospital." Harry exclaimed confused. Alex had a look of disgust on her face, "That is-" "Gross? Repulsive? Shocking and appalling? Yeah we tend to get that a lot" Harry dismissed casually. Alex left "Have a swell day, Al!" "Yeah, you too!"

Alex filled the car with the fuel, and checked get a gift for sunky and get gas for car off the list. She let out a sigh of pleasantness, pleased by pursuing part of the particular perils she had faced. The next things to do were give Sunky the gifts and deliver Majin his package. There is a mail room within the CrossOver PentHouse, but she knew who hanged around there often; Zorch. An infernite mixel, who just really enjoyed getting on Alex's short-fused nerves. Alex was never good at holding in her temper, and would often lash out verbally, causing some to be afraid of her or find them unpleasant.

Not to mention she was somewhat scared of Majin, even though he was a pleasant hedgehog! It was due to their first two encounters, She was frightened and afraid in the first one, only being 17, still afraid of most, but still trying her best to be brave. Their second encounter was not much of a berry picking either, her remembering the first encounter, and sort of freaking out.

Alex's face went from nervous to determined, "No! I promised that those errands would be completed, and as apart of the Rosario blood line, I will not taint that! Those errands will be finished! No matter what comes back to haunt me, I will make it all the way! I will keep any promise! For if my name is not Alex Lavendra Rosario, I will not let anyone down!" as Alex was pep-talking her fears away, she exhaled, and drive back to the CrossOver PentHouse. Alex parked the car in the parking lot in the designated spot, and waltzed in...
