After the entire predicament, you decided to follow through with Ricardo's prior plans as it's the only one you could go with. It's not like you have any plans yourself that could work, all that's happening is already making you feel overwhelmed, you didn't need more things on your plate. 

Luckily you aren't alone in this strange world, you have someone who has pledged and made a promise to help you no matter what, to keep you safe while figuring out what to do and how to exactly escape this terrifying world where your kind is eaten for some sick selfish reasons you couldn't understand. 

"So what are these creatures called?" You asked Ricardo whilst following him towards his house. You aren't allowed to take the normal route to his house, which is the gate you have seen before. 

Because if someone did see you, you're doomed and Ricardo will get killed for this. You didn't want that so you're walking on a different path.

Ricardo said that you'll be living at his home, for the time being, disguised as a distant relative of his. You don't know how he will pull that off but he said he will find a way somehow. 

So you're both walking around his village to not get seen, thankfully his home was coincidentally at the far back of the village where there are not many houses built.

Hopefully, no one had the same mindset as you and walked around the village too. Save from some merchants who walked around with their horses, luckily with big trees surrounding the area it's quite easy to hide from them.

With the area being clean from other people, you took this opportunity to look fully at your surroundings, it's like you're in a fantasy world. It's as if you time traveled back too, the villages, the clothes, the people. It's like you're walking on a movie set, with a high budget at that.

There are no buildings that reach the sky, there's no electricity, cars, or any technologies whatsoever. It's just a simple village in the middle of nowhere, a vast area of trees and plain fields. You know you'll take so much time trying to get used to living in this place and time but you'll do your best to do so. 

You'll need to fit in as to not stand out too much, to not let them think you're a human in hiding. They need to think you're a Soralian among them. Sounds impossible especially with the way you look completely different from them, you don't have the fiery palette they have, no Red eyes no Auburn hair. 

No magic they seem to have, you're completely different from them, an entirely different being compared to them. But it's a must, with not much time to waste all must be in haste. Effort is most needed at times like this, you know you'll find a way somehow. 

The fact you've been discovered by a good Soralian like Ricardo and not immediately dying is a sign that luck is at your side. You're not dying, no matter what. You're going to live.

"They're called Idirans, most of them are greedy and gluttonous. Especially their Emperor Gluttof. Suits his name huh?" Ricardo answered and you agreed wholeheartedly, pasting the information in your head. A mental memo you might say.

Gluttof is such a suitable name for someone who devours human souls to live. You already despise him and imagine him as a big fat oversized being. It's judgemental of you but once you hate someone you never hold back on spitting brutal insults about them.

What's in your mind right now? Just full of insults and curses towards the evil Emperor of Idira. May he die with too much body fat, though he might be fit or something.

"Yes, what do they look like? So I know what to avoid." You need to be more cautious, finally finished with your mental rambling and screaming. You bet they look terrifying, the thought made you shiver in fear.
