Imagine #6 Soojin X Hui 💔

Soojin and Hui used to date about four years ago now. Now they are not dating. Since Soojin left (G)I-DLE, she had stayed out of the limelight following the allegations. It affected her pretty bad. Hui and her have always been close since they were part of the same agency. For years they were close after dating for a little while. Hui is now doing his military service as a social worker. Soojin and Hui broke up a long time ago but she is somewhat not over him. She doesn't feel like he would trust her again if they became close because of the bullying allegations that surfaced. Maybe one day something will bring Soojin and Hui back together

Hui has been in the military for nearly a year now and Soojin has been sending him postcards but she's nothing back from him. She is said that he might not want anything to do with her after her allegations. He might have heard about what happened. Hui will be coming home in another 6 months or so. Soojin hopes she will hear from him. Soojin is kinda bored these days since she is not in (G)I-DLE anymore. You don't hear much from her these days. Soojin is just hoping that Hui will write back to her. She has sent him two letters so far in the last few weeks. She feels like she should send him another one. I grabs a pen and paper and look at it for a few minutes thinking of what to write if anything. Soojin starts drafting out a better to Hui but it doesn't go according to plan so she decides to scrap it. She sits there and starts to get a little emotional. She feels like the only man she's ever loved doesn't write back to her. Maybe he will soon

A couple of weeks later and Hui has written back to Soojin. The letter got lost in the post. She is about to get a nice surprise when she arrives home this afternoon. Soojin has been out to the mall this afternoon. She needed some retail therapy as she was feeling a bit sorry for herself. She is better now she has shopped and bought things. Soojin arrives home at her apartment to find a brown envelope on the floor. She picks it up and looks at it wondering who it's from at first. Soojin takes off her shoes and jacket and put her bags in her bedroom before sitting on the couch and open oh the letter. She opens it and there was a small sheet of paper attached together. From Hui of course. The letter read.....
'Dear, Soojin. Sorry I've not replied to your previous letters. Things have been so busy over here. Nice to hear from you. Hope you are well. I know it can't have been easy for you. Just remember to ignore those haters because I do. I will be back from military in a few months time so I might pay you a visit. All the best Lee Hoetaek'.
Soojin felt happy and elated after reading Hui's letter. He sighed it with his full name which she found cute. Maybe that's a sign he still feels something even though he didn't say

6 months have passed and Hui is finally back from military service. It's been a long 18 months for him. He went straight home to see his family. That was the first thing he did. Hui has been thinking of Soojin since he got back last week. He is going to pay her a visit. He knows where she lives as they used to date. Soojin is in as it's evening time and she's having a nice cozy evening in on her own. She is watching a k drama on Netflix right now. She is getting hooked on it and doesn't want to leave the the couch. There is a knock on Soojin's door. She ignores it first and then answers it the second time. She opens the door and is surprised to see Hui stood there. "Hoetaek" she said. "Soojin, hello" he said. She froze for a minute. "So I thought I would come and pay you a visit" Hui said. "Okay sure" Soojin replies. Hui comes in and smiles at Soojin. "How was military service?" she asks. "It was okay thanks but glad to hear home now" he said. They sit down on the couch. "Soojin, there is something I want to say to you. Something you might not exactly want to hear" Hui said. "Okay" she interrupts. "I know it must've been awful what you went through last year. I can't imagine how you felt. I don't want to let this come between us as friends" Hui said. "I'm still in love with you, Hoetaek. I have been for ages. I've been thinking about you everyday since we joined the military wondering if you're safe" Soojin said. "Yeah well I'm safe now. Maybe I can't fully trust you again, Soojin. After what I heard. The Soojin I know is sweet and kind underneath so I was so surprised when I heard that" Hui said. "If I wasn't in love with you, I wouldn't have sent all those letters and you only replied twice" Soojin said. "Well I was caught up in something busy. I didn't have all the time in the world to write you back" he said. "Yes I understand that" she said. "We can still be friends, Soojin but just friends" he said. "Okay if you want it that way then fine" Soojin said. "Okay I gotta go" Hui said. "Bye" she said. Hui walked out of Soojin's apartment and leaves her feeling sad at what he said. Guess they will just have to be friends and only friends

Hui has been thinking about things a lot lately and just what he said to Soojin. He feels like he hurt her feelings a bit by saying he only wanted to be friends when he knew she wanted to be more. Maybe Hui should make things right with Soojin and win her back if she'll take him back. Maybe she will have to think about it first. Hui sits in his apartment thinking about Soojin a lot and what she might be up to. Maybe she was the only woman he loved and will ever love. He wants to settle down and be happy and find that special someone. He didn't date Soojin for long but they sure did have a great time together enjoying life and being together. He does feel bad for rejecting her and hurting her feelings

The next week and Hui still can't get Soojin off his mind so he wants to go and see her. She is just heading out for the evening with a couple of friends but he doesn't know that. He got her some beautiful flowers. Will she accept them? Hui arrived at Soojin's place and rings the doorbell. She doesn't answer till a couple of minutes later. "Soojin, I'm so sorry for everything" he starts off my saying. She was speechless and didn't know what to say. "It's okay. I'm just heading out tough" Soojin said. "Soojin, i feel so bad. I just want to make things right with you. It will take a few minutes" Hui said. She didn't say anything. He just barged in. "I know you for who you really are. I've never known you as a bully, Soojin. I know who you really are. A sweet and loving girl on the inside wether people see that or not. I'm ready to give you another chance I think" Hui said. "Are you sure? What you said before, you just wanted to be friends" Soojin said. "Soojin, just forget about that. Maybe I didn't mean it. I-I still have feelings for you. I can't stop thinking about you. Give me another chance" he said. She goes silent again and didn't know what to say to Hui. "Say something" he said. "But you said you couldn't trust me before, Hoetaek so what do you mean?" Soojin said. "Soojin, I said forget about that and just give me another chance. You won't regret it" Hui said. She looks at him and shies away from him. Hui pulls Soojin in and kisses her on the lips. "See i want you again" he said. "Yeah I think I do too. Sorry I didn't know what to say. You took me by surprise by coming in like that" Soojin said. "It's alright" he smiles. He pulls her in again for a kiss and it turns into something more. They make out and spend the night together in Soojin's bed. So Soojin and Hui found each other again

A/ N: I couldn't miss out Soojin. Could I? She is still a part of (G)I-DLE. I don't care what people say about her. She is still human. She used to date Hui so I thought I'd do him for her imagine
