Opposites Attract

Chapter 1

Both Cyd and Shelby had woken up for school waiting for the day to attack them with whatever antics came their way. They had both gotten ready and ate breakfast and headed off to school. Shelby's mom had given her a ride to school while Cyd had taken her motorcycle. Shelby had gotten out of the car and headed towards school when she heard the sound of a loud motorcycle come into the parking lot. Shelby had some time to kill so she stood and watched. Cyd had parked her motorcycle taking her helmet off shaking her head and moving her hair to one side of her shoulder. Now Shelby had seen this as everything was in slow motion. Wow she's so cool. She thought to herself. Shelby shook her head and began walking towards school again. Cyd had grabbed her bag and slung it over her shoulder and started walking into school passing by a blonde girl with blue eyes. Shelby didn't notice but Cyd looked over her shoulder and smirked at her. Shelby's heart fluttered when their shoulders touched. Am I the only one who feels like this? She shook her head again and went to her first class as Cyd had did. Well, not before using the bathroom first, she really needed to pee. (A/N: XD) and as soon as they both had headed to their classes the day had went by quicker then expected. Shelby called her mom to pick her up from school only to get a text from her father saying she couldn't make it because she had a meeting at work. And her father was busy anyway. So Shelby stood around and leaned up against the wall and sighed. Now what am I supposed to do? Cyd had came out of the school and looked over at Shelby over her shoulder and smirked raising a brow. Cyd sat on her motorcycle and just stared at Shelby. She gave a small chuckle. "Need a ride home?" Shelby looked over at the girl with long black hair and the motorcycle. Shelby's heart almost stopped. Her breath got caught in her throat. "Uhm..." she bit her lower lip and slowly walked over to the girl. Cyd blinked and couldn't wipe the smirk off her face. "Don't worry, I don't bite" Cyd walked to the back of her motorcycle and took out an extra helmet and walked up to the blonde and held it up to her. She gave a small smile. The blonde looked at the other girl and looked around seeing if anyone else was willing to give her a ride or if all of this was her imagination playing with her. She sighed and looked at the helmet the dark haired girl was holding up to her. "Okay fine, but only because my mom is at a work meeting and I can't find anyone else" And so Cyd had given the blonde a ride home. Before Cyd had taken off she said this. "I'm Cyd" Shelby looked at the dark haired girl and gave a smile. "I'm Shelby" they shook hands and smiled at each other, Shelby giving back the helmet and exchanging numbers. "I'll see you around" Cyd did a salute gesture as Shelby gave a small laugh. "See ya" Cyd had taken off on her motorcycle back to her house. Both girls had went inside and went to their rooms. Shelby landing on her bed with a big smile on her face and Cyd, she just couldn't stop smiling.
