I woke up and I'm not in Sage's office anymore. Nasa kuwarto na kami. My face is on his neck and my hand is on his naked chest. Malalim ang pag-angat baba ng dibdib niya at ramdam ko ang kalmadong paghinga niya sa itaas ng ulo ko. Nakaunan ako sa kaliwang braso niya habang ang kanan ay naka hawak sa kamay kong nasa dibdib niya.

"I-I'm sorry. I think h-he's not here, Mom. I can't find any more clues-"

"You're coming home two weeks from now."

I froze. Natigil ang pagpisil ko sa malambot na bed cover. Halos pati paghinga ko huminto na din. I was very stunned. I wasn't expecting to hear that from my mother since the time they gave to me was three years.

Why are they pulling me out now?

"M-Mom..."

"I will pull you out of that mission. They can send another woman for that, and I want you back here, Harmonia. The longer you stay there, the dirtier you'll become. Your groom won't like it."

W-Wait. Groom?

Bumigat ang paghinga ko. Confusion filled me and it's making my head spin.

I remember Uncle Jim. Halos buwan buwan siyang bumibisita sa bahay. He was kind to me. Whenever he was around, I have the freedom to go out of the house and roam around our property. Siya lang ang tingin kong normal na bisita namin sa bahay, yung hindi kasama sa organisasyon.

And she said he's my groom? Nababaliw na ba ang nanay ko? We're relatives! Our great-grandfathers are siblings!

I manage to pick up some of my broken pieces. Inabot ko ang cellphone ko at muling inilagay malapit sa tenga ko.

"Harmonia, are you listening?!"

"Mom."

I heard her heavy breathing. Kung sa normal na pagkakataon, siguradong sunod sunod na ang paghingi ko ng tawad. She's angry and what's comes next will be my nightmare.

But I am already in a nightmare, aren't I? I already experienced a lot. What's more to be afraid of?

"Mommy, he's my uncle!"

For the very first time in my life, I raised my voice to her. And I can almost feel her anger raising. Pero wala akong pakialam doon sa ngayon.

"He's your Uncle and your groom! Uuwi ka dito at lilipad tayong Europe para makasal kayo. You will come back here in two weeks!"

"No!" I said almost hysterically. "A-Ayoko, Mommy! He's two decades older than me!"

"Who cares?! He can impregnate you, still! I know that so well cause your grandpa is twenty-five years older than my mother!"

I cried. Halo halo ang nararamdaman ko. I feel disgusted with the thought that she wants me to marry a relative. I feel sick to my stomach!

"Mommy, please!-"

"Hendrix will get you in two weeks. Don't you dare escape, Harmonia. You don't want to go back to the white room, do you? Go ahead, be stubborn and I will refresh that brain of yours that you won't remember even your name!"
