Chapter Six

"Sino nga palang pwede bumili mamaya ng ingredients for the booth tomorrow?" Pres asked.

We're having an hour break.

The booth is in the second day of the intramurals.

"Free me." I said.

"Ako rin." Liz said.

"Sige, kayo na lang dalawa. Para kami magextra decor and clean na lang ng booths."

"Sabay na lang kaya kayo kila Yuna and Chaer?"

Wony asked.

"Pwede. Gogrocery rin sila tomorrow?" I asked.

"Yeah, sabihan ko na lang sila." She smiled.

The other students that haven't performed yet will after the lunch break and kasama na kami dun. Second kami.

"Ansarap nung chocolate fountain na nasa gym kanina!" Leeseo said out of no where while we're having our lunch.

"That's my parent's gift to students." I said.

Her smile fades. "I'm sorry, Rei. I didn't know.."

"It's fine! I'm gonna share a memory kasi about the marshmallow!" I said.

"Before they left me here I always tell my ate that I'm craving and I love marshmallows and I didn't know she always tell my parents that she likes to have marshmallows even though she really hates it. She will always give me those when our parents left for work and I think until now they don't know how Ate Jai hates marshmallows." I laughed.

"I didn't know Jai is that kind." Gaeul said.

"She's not really easy to read." Yujin commented.

"She isn't like that before. She's really transparent back then." I said.

"She's still bubbly but it lessen." Wony said.

"Yeah, I'm wondering what happened to her in Japan." Liz said.

"That's why I'm hesitating to be left here too. I'm worried about her." I whispered.

"Ate Jai is intimidating and always scared to know new people to enter her life." Leeseo said and I nodded.

And before the bell rang we're already at the backstage again with the whole sriracha to prepare.

I'm chill because I know we can do it but Liz the nerbyoso are not.

I held her hand and interwined it with mine making her looked at me.

"It will be okay. We're good at this." I whispered.

"Ay ganun? Tangina kinakabahan rin ako at nerbyosa pero wala namang humahawak ng kamay ko." Yuna said.

"Tangina, find a person who will hold your hand whenever you felt nervous!" Ryujin yelled.

"Gago!" Liz said.

"Find a Naoi Rei!" Yeji yelled.

I just laughed.

Because of it Liz felt ashamed and released her hand from mine but I interwined it again.

"Train na kita, Liz." I laughed.

"Mama mo train. Nandun kasi sila Mommy mamaya, di ba? Kaya ko kinakabahan alam ko namang kaya natin." She rolled her eyes.

It's already our time so we went out as a whole class and we stepped on the stage.

I felt nervous now :D

The song starts and we started dancing and singing along with it.

All the time I was just looking at the gym's door where there's no person so I won't met anyone's eyes.

I can feel my parents eyes but what I'm focusing more is what the performance will looked.

"You did great, Bunsoy!!" Ate Jai hugged me as soon as I stepped out the stage.

I hugged her, she hugged me back.

"Capt, Jai!" Her co- cheerleaders called her.

"Ano?!" She shouted so they could hear eachother.

Wonyoung is hugging her parents.

Liz's family is here na rin. She's actually hugging eachother.

"Warm up na daw!"

"Sige, sunod ako." Ate Jai pat my head and went to her cheerleaders.

"Rei, anak!!" Tita Lira Zishe called me.

Nanggaling pa nga ampangalan ni Liz dun. Ang Li ay sa Lira at yung Z sa Zishe.

I walked towards them as they let me entered their group hug. Group hugs aren't new to us anymore since we're already doing this even before.

God know how I love these people.

Yujin, Leeseo, and Yujin are also hugging and greeting their family.

Fuck I don't have that family but I have srirachas.

"Kumusta naman kayo dito sa Maynila?"

"Okay naman, My. Hagard lang medj!" Liz answered.

"Bayaan mo next time di ko na kayo payagang  tumakbo pa ng sc."

"Ehhh, Tita naman!" I said.

"Ehh ehh. Kailan kayo uuwing Vigan?"

"This break po before ng school trip." I aswered.

"Sama-sama na kayong anim uuwi, ano?"

"Opo." We smiled.

"Hoy, Lira! Dali na magutom na yung mga anak natin bilian mo na't ayain magtanghalian baka malipasan ng gutom ay hindi maganda yun!" Yujin's mom said.

"Aba oo na! Makahoy!- oh dali na. Tanghalian na tayo..."

Hiniram ng parents ni Leeseo si Lizei, kapatid ni Liz.

Pati na rin yung house cat naming si Lirei.

We spent our lunch break in a restaurant with smiles in our face with the meals we shares as a whole family. This is my family except for sriracha ofcourse!~

Sorry for the short chapters I post I really need to write longer chapters I know but I'm kind of struggling at cutting and transitioning a conversation on another conversation T~T
