Ms Scales announced that their projects would be marked by the next week - but Venus couldn't possibly wait that long, could she?
At break, she couldn't find Chris, so she went to the library on her own. "I wonder where he is?" Thought Venus, as she flicked through a book about Monster Schools.
When it came to lunch break, Venus couldn't go to the tree because it had started to rain, so she went to the library again. By the end of lunch break, she was almost asleep she was so bored! She figured Chris didn't know where she was, which was why she hadn't seen him. Though she couldn't shake the feeling that he was avoiding her deliberately....
"What am I thinking? Chris is my friend - he said so himself!" Venus assured herself, but was she right?
