"What? You saw...that was nothing!" Said Christopurr, to which Venus replied "well it didn't look like nothing, it looked like you and Mackenzie fanging out!"
Christopurr looked awkwardly down at the ground, and mumbled "I can explain -"
"You don't have to explain anything, Christopurr Mewsden! I know what I saw!" Venus said, before running out of the library.
The rest of the day was pretty miserable for Venus, and though she wouldn't admit it, she was lonely. It was the same for the next two days of school, she sat on her own and didn't speak to anyone. She still couldn't quite get over the fact that she had lost her best (and only) friend.
