"Why are you laughing?" Asked Venus, before Christopurr said "Venus McFlytrap, any friend of mine knows that Mackenzie Morgue just wants everyone to notice her - so she is not someone you should listen to!" Now Venus was laughing - how could she possibly think Chris would take this seriously?! She decided that she would be better than Mackenzie, and just be herself. For the next half of the lesson, she was laughing and chatting to Chris, like nothing had ever happened. They talked about everything - from their favourite teachers to their most embarrassing moments - and when the lesson was over, Venus was secretly a tiny bit upset. But they were meeting up at lunch again, so she had no reason to be upset really.
