Both my siblings dressed up in suits, standing by the living room waiting for me. In confusion I take a quick look around the room, was I missing anything?
"We're here to be your wingmen, or back up in case things don't go as you planned."
"I'm pretty sure you asked your hopeless crush out horribly."
Both of my brothers laughed. I roll my eyes at their teasing, of course they'd do that. I never really got along with my siblings for the reason being they are kind of an ass. I wouldn't have imagined they'd bother taking the time to be my back-up when they could go get their own dates and have fun at the party.
"So? Are we heading now or are you chickening out?"
"Heading now... Thanks a lot you two, I didn't expect this."
"Save the sentimentality for later, you haven't lost all hope in your crush you hopeless romantic."
We take our leave, heading to the party being driven by the older one of my siblings. At the party I find my crush standing by herself, my brothers urging me to ask her to dance.
