''Arey tumhari maa to wohi hai na, shubhadra kaki, jiske do bete hai?'' Bondita asked him, a little bit sure about his mother's existence.
''Haa. Par ab koi kaam ka nahi hai unka beta..'' Anirudh said and sighed, ''Maa bhi chali gayi mujhe chhod kar, kahi bohot door..!'' His voice choked as he uttered these words.
''Arey, aisa mat kaho, yahi rahti hai tumhari maa, paas wale gaanv mai, mai le chalu ? '' Bondita stood up from the ground.
''Nahi, vo agar mujhse milegi to akrosh mai aakar kya pata apni aankh mujhe hi dede, aap rehne do !'' Anirudh said, fear visible in his eyes.
''Buddhu Babu!'' Bondita giggled.
Bondita was shedding tears beside the Mango tree. She cried more as she remembered his words,
''Thik hai, Mai aapka Diya or aap mera..'' He stopped.
''Aur tum mere.. ?'' She narrowed her brows.
''Aur mai aapka margadarshak! '' He exclaimed and giggled.
''Tum mere margadarshak ho na Anirudh, marg dikhao na mujhe aaj! '' She screamed , ''Bondita Mayi ke pran ko koi rok hi nahi sakta tha, tumne roka, To aaj yeh pran bhi pura karo, ki Bondita bacha le tumhe !'' She cried.
