Following Neer's advice, Sameera went towards Gyaan to request for the colourful book.

Gyaan looked at her silently for a few seconds, before standing up and gesturing to her to come a little away from everyone.

"What's wrong? Did you change your mind about helping me?" Sameera asked, tension clear in her voice.

Gyaan looked a little disturbed and less sure than before.

"It's not that," Gyaan reassured.

"Then?" Sameera looked at him with curiosity and nervousness.

"The twins couldn't perform their powers in the same way as it was written in the book. But I had concluded that it was because of their own immunity issues.

"However, even Avan can't fully perform his powers. According to the book, earth elementals had the power to create and protect their element," Gyaan said, while running his hand through his hair in frustration.

"So...you mean to say that we are different from the elements back then. And this colourful book is of no use to us," Sameera stated, speaking the words Gyaan had left behind.

"Something like that. I can still find the list of what an Air element can do from the book. But whether you can perform it or not....we will have to find it through trial and error," he concluded.

"Sorry for giving you false hopes," Gyaan apologized, regretting his arrogance.

He had thought that he knew it all. But nature was here to kick his butt and let him know that he wasn't that great being.

Sameera rubbed her forehead in distress. The book was her last hope. However, Sameera had promised herself that she wouldn't give up.

"At least tell me the way they performed their powers. Let's try each one of them," Sameera said with determination.

"I like how you aren't giving up. But I am sorry to break this hope of yours too," Gyaan spoke, feeling guilty for not having a positive response.

"There were no tricks. Ancestors handled the power like breathing.

"We don't really think about our inhaling and exhaling throughout the day, do we?" Gyaan asked with raised eyebrows, "Unless of course if we have a clogged nose or we are doing Yoga." Gyaan finished with a chuckle.

Sameera gave him an unamused glare, not liking his humour one bit.

"Is there anything I can do? Or should I just remain useless?" Sameera questioned, not really hoping for a correct answer.

Gyaan showed her one finger, silently asking her to wait and mulled over everything.

Sameera bit her lips in anticipation as she stared at Gyaan who had a concentrated look on his face.

"Okay." Gyaan clapped his hands once, as the light bulb lit inside his brain.

"Let's sit down. This will take a while," Gyaan muttered, as he tried to find a nice place to sit.

Other than the chairs where researchers were or the tree where the twins had claimed the spot, there was no place that was suitable to sit. Upon failing to find a nice spot, Gyaan pierced his lips, thinking whether it was okay to just sit on the road.

Shaking her head at the egoistic guy, Sameera walked towards the twins and asked whether they could sit down beside them.

"We don't own the tree." Neer laughed, before hinting at Sameera to come and take a seat.

"You should have told us first that the idiot would also be joining," Ahana grumbled when she saw Sameera calling Gyaan to come over to their spot.

Both Gyaan and Ahana glared at each other until Sameera stopped them.
