Instead of learning destructive death the minute they started, Akaza told Izuku to get some muscle on him, by doing 50 pushups, 50 sit-ups, and 50 mile run in his mind scape, slowly working his way up to 100 each to 150 and so on, after he wormed up his body, he did spars with Akaza doing martial arts, Izuku learning Akazas form when he was human before demon.
50 years(6 hours)
Izuku was doing the same routine Akaza thought him, except Akaza started to teach him how to use Destructive Death and all it's forms.
He was taught to use Compass needle first
A form that lets Akaza see his opponents fighting spirit just by looking at them and ( I don't know if it's true or not but fuck it) he predicts his opponents movement, like a sharingan from Naruto.
