A very enthusiastic young man came running to my locker, I've liked him since we were both just little kids, he's also been my friend all this time.
"Venti! What's up?" I closed my locker door, smiling and turned to him.

"Waahh! I needed to put something in there! Open it up again" He stopped, standing a few inches away from me. "What is it?" I started opening it up again, "Secret, don't look until after school alright!?" He turned my body to look the other way, placing something in there.

"Whyyy? It's in my locker let me see now!" I turned back, he already closed my locker. "No, go to class now!" He held my shoulder, a slight blush creeped to my face.

After-school I waited for Venti to show up because we walk home together, but... he didn't come today. 'Eh it's fine' I mumbled to myself, opening my locker. A note came out, 'why'd he write me a note?' I read it throughly.. it's uh

"Are you kidding me." I went out of the school, holding the note and started walking to my house.
When I opened the door, he was shaking my moms hand? They've known each other since we've known each other so why shake hands now? "Mom? Venti? Why're you shaking hands?" I walked up to them, still holding my bag. "- I give you full.. Y/n! When did you get home!" Mom came over to me, taking my bag.

"Hiya, N/n!" Venti sat at my kitchen table, holding his head up with his chin. "Venti what's this note mean?" It was in German? I know he's taking German classes to get closer with his culture, but I don't understand it! "You'll see soon~!" My mom chuckled from the other room, she's listening?

"I don't wanna wait!!" I whined, putting my head down on the table. "You just have to wait until tomorrow!!" He laughed, putting his head down too. I looked at him, sighing.

It's a good thing he lives near by and we're old enough to go out at night, because we stayed in my room until 11 watching random shit. "Y/n?" Venti whispered, looking at me, "uh huh?" I looked back at him, admiring his features

"It's eleven, I'm gonna head out alright?" He sat up, fixing his hair. "Okay, text me when you get home!" He nodded, walking out of my room. I thought this was.. weird? He usually stays the night if we're hanging out this long.. I did hear him taking to my mom before he walked out. Eh, that's pretty normal for someone leaving that late.

February 14th 1:55 PM

Venti didn't come to my locker this morning, I'm currently in art right now, sketching something for him. "Y/n? Psssh" Someone said from the door, I turned around and there he was! "Yeah?" I whispered, looking down at him. "Come to xx park after school, pleaseeeee" He smiled, I nodded, smiling back.

'It's pretty normal for him to do this' I thought to myself, sitting back down. I started blushing. 'Agyhhhh it's not normall'

February 14th 2:20 pm

Venti still wasn't at my locker, must be at the park already. I don't like Valentine's Day, everyone is so cheesy... and I've never dated anyone because I had a full-on crush on my best-friend since I was young so I haven't celebrated.

But one year, Venti and I did go to the City together. Our hands touched sometimes, he looked so cute in the lights.. His gorgeous hair flowing while he slow-ran.

By the time I was finished thinking, I made it to the park. My best friend, swinging. I walked over there, putting my bag on the ground and sat on the swing next to him. "N/n! Close your eyes!!"

I closed my eyes until he said, "Open them now."
