I walked downstairs expecting to see mom or Robby. Neither of them were anywhere to be found.

I went back to Robby's room, he was asleep. Now to find where the hell mom is. I opened the front door and stuck my head out, mom was helping a woman take boxes inside Eli's old house. Their house sold fast..

God. Why does mom have to get to know everyone. Anyway, I went outside and sat on the porch. Mom came over to me and grabbed my hand and drug me over to the other woman. "This is the daughter I was telling you about! My son is probably still asleep."-mom says-

"Mommm"-I groan- "Hello! It's nice to meet you!"-the woman says- "Tina has a son your age who will be attending school with you!"-mom says- I gave her a wry smile and nodded. "Mateo,honey! Come meet our neighbors!"-Tina says-

A boy ran over with a huge smile on his face.

He stuck his hand out to me, and then mom. I smiled and shook his hand. "I'm Mateo but you can call me Teo, and you are?"-Teo says- "I'm Y/n, it's nice to meet you Teo!"-I say- he flashed his big smile at me. "I think this is gonna work out nicely!"-mom says-

I elbowed her. "We're gonna get back to moving boxes, you guys can get to know each other!"-Tina says-

Like Tina said, they began moving more boxes, etc, into the house. Me and Teo just walked up and down the side walk.

"So, Teo. Have you always lived here?"-I ask- "No, my mom and I just moved from Arizona, mom thought it would be a good idea to move on since my dad died a few months ago."-Teo says- "what about you?"-Teo asks-

"Shit, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring that up."-I say- "it's all good, he wasn't a very good man."-Teo says- "to answer your question, I've lived here my whole life."-I say- "so you have a brother?"-Teo asks- "indeed."-I say-

"It must be nice, it kinda sucks being an only child."-Teo says- "no, my brother is an ass."-I say- we both laughed. "Would you wanna hang out sometime?"-Teo asks- "as friends, I know you have a boyfriend. I heard your mom talking to my mom about how he just moved out of the house."-Teo adds on-

"Yeah, why not! You're kinda stuck with me,anyway, since you just moved here."-I say jokingly- "touché."-Teo says- "tell me about yourself, I'm curious to know who my new friend is."-Teo says-

"There's not much to know about me."-I say- "I'm not an interesting person at all."-I say- "I'm not either, until you get to know me. If that makes sense..?"-Teo says- "I'm the same way!"-I say-

"I guess there's one thing we have in common"-Teo says- I shrugged and nodded.

We continued to talk for a bit longer.

"Teo!"-Tina yells- we ran over to her. "Yes mom?"-Teo asks- "come on home, we're about to go get lunch!"-Tina yells- "Okay! Bye Y/n, See you later?"-Teo says- "Of course!"-I say-

I turned back and went home. I guess I'm good at making friends..? "I see you guys are getting along fine!"-mom says- "you could say that, we're only friends though. I would never do that to Eli!"-I say- "I know!"-mom says-

"Speaking of that I'm gonna go see if he's awake!"-I say- "okay"-mom says- I ran upstairs and grabbed my phone. I texted him 'hello' and he immediately answered.

I pressed accept, "Hello my love!"-I say- "Hello Princess"-Eli says- Eli's soft raspy voice mixed with his morning voice- OH MY GOD. "Someone moved in next door already"-I say sadly- "really?"-Eli asks- "yeah, I met him this morning. His name is Teo."-I say- 

I quickly turned On my camera, then Eli did too.

"Is he nice to you?"-Eli asks concerned- "yes,baby. He's nice to me."-I say- "is Yasmine being a bitch still?"-I ask- "good, she hasn't said anything since you came over."-Eli says- "good."-I say- "speaking of that, do you wanna come over today?"-I ask- "I'm gonna sound clingy, but I miss you!"-I say-

"Yes! If my mom says yes!"-Eli says- "we're the 2 clingiest people ever."-Eli says- "okay and?! I love you so much!"-I say- "I love you too!"-Eli says- I could hear the smile on Eli's face even though i could see it. How did I get so lucky?

"I'm gonna go ask my mom!"-Eli says- "okay!"-I say- the light of Eli's hallway shined into his room, a minute he came in the room and plopped on his bed. "What's wrong baby?"-I ask- "my mom said no! We have to go shopping for my cousins stupid baby shower!"-Eli says- "and we have to run a bunch of errands on top of that!"-Eli says-

I laid back in my bed. "It's gonna be fine, we still have like everyday, plus we can call!"-i say- Eli shook his head. "I mean I hate kids so I can't make the baby shower thing any better."-I say- "me too! I despise kids!"-Eli says- "I didn't know that, good to know!"-I say-

"Maybe you could come over later? When you're done with your errands?"-I ask- "maybe!"-Eli says- "anyway, I gotta go. We're gonna leave in like 10 minutes."-Eli says- "okay."-I say- "I love you"-Eli says- "I love you too."-I say-
