Chapter 3: Picknick

Aleeza's POV

What are they hiding from me? And why can't Zaroon tell me?

But Muhammad Ali promised me he'll tell me so then I'll know. I went into my room and sat down.

I have to invite Zahra for tomorrow.

I took my phone and called Zahra.

"Hello?"

"Assalam o alaikum, Zahra."

"Walaikum assalam, Aleeza, how are you doing?"

"Fine alhamdulillah. What about you? "

"I'm also fine. "

"Zahra, so tomorrow we are all going to picknick and I wanted you to come with us."

"But Aleeza, you are going on a family outing, how can I go?"

"Zahra, you are my childhood bestfriend and papa said you also have to come. And I wont hear a no."

"Okay fine. Do I have to bring something?"

"You just have to bring yourself."

"Okay and how late do I have to be there?"

"8.15 AM and don't be late. You know papa, huh?"

"Yes. Okay I'll be there on time.

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

Okay now I'm going to sleep or else I wont wake up in the morning.

I set my alarm and fell asleep.

7 AM

My alarm sounded at 7 AM.

I went to the bathroom and took a shower. I came out wearing a yellow shirt and a pair of  very loose trousers with a multicoloured scarf.

I texted Zahra to wake up and she texted back that she was ready and was coming. I took my bag, keys and phone and went downstairs. Mom and Reeman aunty were, as exspected, in the kitchen making sandwiches.

"Assalam o alaikum!"

"Walaikum assalam beta." They answered.

"You guys need any help?" I asked.

"I don't think so, the sandwiches are almost ready." Mom answered.

"Well, then I'll take the snacks and put the drinks in the coolbox."

"Okay beta. Everything is ready at the table. You just put them in the bags." Reeman aunty said.

"Okay aunty."

I took some bags and put everything in the bags.

"Mama, do I already put them in the cars?"

"Yes beta. You put everything in your car and we'll place all the cricket and playing stuff in the other cars." Mama said.

I took all the bags and my keys. I opened the door and put everything in my car.

"Mama, all the food is in the car. Shall I wake up the others, it's already 7.45 AM?"

"Yes beta. You go, wake them up."

I ran upstairs. First, I went to mom and dad's room. I knocked. No answer, so he is probably sleeping. I opened the door and walked towards the bed.

He is sleeping so peacefully.

"Papa, papa. Wake up."

"Mhhm... What time is it?"
