Chapter eleven | Confessing feelings

Chris had just confessed he likes me! It was my childhood dream to know whether he liked me or not. But sadly, the feelings aren't there anymore because I like someone else. I had no choice but to tell him the truth even though I knew it would hurt him.
I took deep breaths and answered him.
"Chris I used to like you too but now I like someone else I'm truly sorry"
"It's okay I only want what's best for you"
I hugged him tightly, Chris was always very understanding even though it would hurt him.
"Thank you so much Chris I really appreciate it"
"I'm glad I had someone like you as my first crush, Vi" he smiled.
"Me too Chris"
"Shall we go and eat?"
"We shall~"
Chris drove us to Le Fouquet's. It was our favorite restaurant and we would eat there every time we visited. The only thing is we have to reserve a table as it would be full.
I ordered fish and chips with 'Coin de rue' fries, creamed peas and gribiche sauce. Chris just ordered a Fouquet's cheeseburger with 'Coin de rue' fries.

"Thank you Chris for an amazing lunch!"
"You're welcome glad to see your favorite never changed"
"Yours too!"
"I'll see you later?"
"Yup bye Chris~"
"Bye Vi" he said with a wink and left.
I went to the living room and saw all my brothers there.
"HELLOOO MY DEAR BROTHER'S EVEN THOUGH I HATE YOU~"
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN WE WERE WORRIED SICK AND NOW YOU DECIDE TO SHOW UP!" all of them said.
"I went out with Chris-"
"YOU COULD HAVE AT LEAST TEXTED!"
"Kaiden you do know I'm not 10 anymore-"
"I know but I was still worried about you" he said and hugged me tightly.
"Sorry I won't do it again"
"It's okay Vi"
"Anyways I'm going to shower now see ya~"
"Byee"
I went into my room and saw Lily crying.
"Lily what happened, why are you crying?"
"VI!" She hugged me tightly.
"May I please know why are you crying?" I said while wiping her tears.
"I was so worried about you and you didn't pick up the phone so I panicked"
"I'm so sorry Li I totally forgot-"
"It's okay just promise me that you'll never do it again"
"I Vivian King promise to text you before I go to anywhere"
"Vi understood the assignment~"
I winked and left my room to see nan.
"Hey nan!" I knocked on the door before entering.
"Hello Vivi"
I remembered nan giving me that nickname when we first met.
"Are you free right now?"
"Yes Vivi"
"Well let's watch a movie!"
"Sure what movie?"
"The Princess Diaries"
"The classic"
"Yup"

"Anne Hathaway is gorgeous right nan?"
"I agree!"
"Thank you for watching it with me," I said and hugged her.
"Anytime!"
My phone began ringing and it was dad calling.
"Hey dad!"
"Hey angel how are you?"
"I'm fine and you?"
"I'm great too! May I know why your brothers aren't picking up the phone?"
"I'm not sure, I'll go and ask them"
"Okay please tell them to call me as soon as possible okay?"
"Okay dad"
"Thank you angel"
"You're welcome dad!"
He ended the call and I went to ask my brother's why they didn't pick up the phone.
"MAY I KNOW WHY NONE OF YOU HAVE BEEN PICKING UP DAD'S CALL?"
"He called?"
"Duh"
"Oh shoot we must have missed it anyways thanks for the info Vi we gotta go byee!"
Before I could ask them they had already left weird.
