It felt so good to be able to stand up and walk around without any pain. My friends were coming to pick me up today. I changed into a white top and jeans and some white shoes. What, I have to be fashionable even when I'm in the hospital.

I was sitting in the hospital waiting room. I was waiting for my friends when they arrived. Sophie came up to me and hugged me as gently as possible.
"Soph, I'm fine now", I told her.
"Okay", she said.

When we got home I went up to my room and flopped down on my bed. Oh, it felt so good to be back in my own house, my own room, my own bed. I walked over to my closet and quickly changed into some leggings and an oversized Disney land sweatshirt. I grabbed the brown book off my shelf and the stack of pictures of me and my friends. I was making a scrapbook of pictures of us. I just want something to remember this life in case one day we all move on.
I sat down on my bed and got to work. I looked over at my clock, 1 a.m.
I put everything away and settled into my bed and drifted off to sleep.
