Riley sighed and ran upstairs and when she came back she had her suit on

"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to go out and look for him,"
Before anyone could protest Riley ran into the street repeatedly calling his name. In spite of running around for an hour and stopping some civilians for aid, Wild Card never turned up anywhere. After taking a breath, she nearly broke out in tears thinking she would never see him again. The memories they shared brought tears to Riley's eyes as she sat down on a bench.
(Flashback)
Riley was sitting on her bed while Wild Card finished teleporting his stuff into her room
"You excited to have me as your new roommate?"
"Of course I am. Now I don't need to get up just to give you a good morning kiss," Riley replied as he laid down and opened his arms for her to cuddle with him
"You're the most beautiful girl ever,"
"You probably say that to every girl you've been with,"
"Nope, I love you,"
"I love you more,"
Riley pecked his lips and smiled softly
(End of Flashback)
"Riley,"
When Riley looked up in search of the owner of the faint whisper that sounded like Wild Card, her eyes soon fell on a dark figure who turned around and walked into an abandoned warehouse. The urge to follow him overcame Riley, and she stepped into the warehouse, calling his name again when she heard his voice from behind her.
"Wild Card?" Riley screamed running towards him and jumping into his open arms while a few more tears came down her cheeks.
"Hey,"
"Where have you been?"
Riley pulled away from the hug and pecked his lips before grabbing both of his hands
"I thought I lost you," Riley whispered and Wild Card's expression went blank. Riley looked down and saw him gripping her wrist tightly until the pain started
"What are you doing? You're hurting me,"
Riley tried to break his grip but continued to fail while his grip tightened even more. Riley attempted to run away but he simply pulled her back and met her eyes blankly.
"Let go,"
Her panic increased with each passing second as his grip tightened, and she began to look around desperately for a solution. Finally, she kicked his legs from underneath him, breaking his tight grip, and she broke out into a run but the exits were shielded so she couldn't get away. She turned around and saw he was getting up, which prompted her to run into a room at the corner of the warehouse and shield the door from him. Steps were heard approaching, and when Wild Card spoke, it sounded different
"Riley! Open the door! Riley, open this door right now!"
Riley flinched at the sound of the anger in his voice as he started pounding on the door until it stopped.
