the zombies on the hallway are all running towards all of us. ha ri and min jae are busy shooting arrows at some that are still quite far from us, i'm attacking some with my knife, mi jin and joon sung are stabbing a zombie with their unaccidental broken broom sticks behind me.

"shit we won't go to heaven now." said joon sung lowkey screaming. "we're alive so this is heaven." i fucking agree with her. not long after that, i heard a loud stabbing sound. it must be from mi jin.

i step back a little when i saw min jae approaching the three of us. i turned back to see ha ri checking a classroom filled with zombies. she must be checking her brother, i wonder who it is. do i know him?

they are on another hallway near the library. ha ri and min jae are shooting their arrows at some zombies that looks like they were on to something or perhaps someone. mi jin peeked from the window to look at the situation inside the school library. "shit. there's not a single normal one. they're all zombies." y/n sighed at that. "hey, in front of you!" ha ri silently shoot her arrow at the zombie running their way to us. perfectly on the middle of their chest. "ah, we're going to die before we find your brother." ha ri felt her arrows are getting less from all the shootings. "let's go, ha ri" she slightly nods at min jae.

they continue to walk before they found the school medical room's door wide open. "this is seriously-" mi jin quickly covered joon sung's mouth with her hand, worried that there'll be a zombie behind the curtain in front of them. they all carefully walk to the curtain, ha ri preparing her arrow and mi jin opens the curtain and saw nothing behind it. they all sigh in relief. "damn it"

"i told you we should have stayed put. it's crazy to think we can find her brother and just as crazy to have followed her, i told you-"

"ha ri! there's a computer!" joon sung was cutted off. "turn it on! post on instagram or facebook for help." min jae quickly log in to the computer.

it doesn't work. "the cable's connected. why won't it work?" said joon sung once again. "i keep refreshing but-" "try the phone!"

"oh yes" mi jin replied while dialing '119'. it still doesn't work "fuck. assholes. they cut out our phones and internet." said the woman angrily. "fuck" was the only thing came from y/n mouth.

"i wouldn't have studied if i knew this was going to happen. i can't take the CSAT anyway. fuck. i'm never studying again." mi jin finished her sentence. "i agree with you" i responded and saw her softly grin at me. that was the first time ever. "can you two please be serious in serious situations?"

"i'm very serious right now--what will you do, will you keep looking for your brother?" she asked ha ri. "the archery training center has an emergency phone, it connects to 119 automatically." instead of answering mi jin's question, she says that instead. very useful though i never knew they would have such thing in the training center. "we got it installed in case there were accidents." min jae continued. "what if it doesn't connect? the phone and internet are dead."

"it doesn't matter. that's where all the arrows are anyway. i have less than 20 left, we need more if we want to leave the school." ha ri answered her question. "i think-" "okay let's go. let's go to your training center and get your arrows. then let's go home or to a supermarket"

"and why is that?" i questioned. "well you know, in zombie movies the ones that go to supermarkets always live the best, they have cigarettes there too." i chuckled at her response, she's right though once again. she made me remember that my dad used to said the same thing everytime we watch that kind of movies. about 4 years ago, before he left me. "i think-"

"the dumpsters are below these windows. i think we should jump down rather than use the stairs." min jae bothered joon sung talking, not on purpose. "okay let's jump. falling from the third floor won't hurt as much as failing to get into college." the short haired woman said while standing up, grabbing her weapon. and i kept agreeing with her. "let me get a word in!" joon sung protested. "min jae. go down first and shoot any that come running. then you three go down and help him. i'll cover you in the hallway and go last." me and mi jin nod to this. "what did you want to say?"

"let's just stay here. the adults will come and rescue us!" he said what he wanted to say. "you can stay here if you want. but i don't trust adults."

"if i'm being honest, it's quite dumb to think we could ever rely on them." i continued, agreeing with ha ri while following her after.

"damn, that bitch is so my type." hearing mi jin saying that make me feel things that aren't describable, which 'bitch' are she talking about? "i'm scared to be alone.."

"hurry up." said mi jin to joon sung in a complete different tone. min jae opened the door and the two archers got out.

min jae jumped down and i did the same after him, landing perfectly, suprisingly. "look out! behind you!" mi jin firmly warned him. "move" as i saw ha ri shooted her arrow at the zombie down here. "why is it so fucking high?" i looked up to see mi jin hesitated to jump. "come on! it's not that bad." i shout from below. "damn it"

"jump already!" ha ri told her. "okay alright im going!" ha ri pushed her right after she said that. she fell down and i immediately catch her to my arms made the both of us fell to our asses. "oh fuck", still holding her with me, i laugh nervously hoping it would get me out of this awkward-serious situation only to make it worse.

i loosen my hold on her as she grab my right hand to jump with me to the very bottom. does she not think it's awkward?

joon sung and ha ri followed us after.
