Chapter Ten: Rehearsal

Grayson's POV

"Troy, once the intro begins, cross downstage and plant yourself at the piano which should be further downstage" Miss Jen says and I nod before looking to NiNi who looks a bit nervous

"Ok Miss Jenn......NiNi are you ok" I say before looking to NiNi

"Yea I'm fine....just...your sister is staring at us with a smile" She says and I look over at Gina who is indeed looking at us with a big creepy smile, I give her a look and she giggles before looking away

"Sorry about her.....I got you though" I say and NiNi smiles and nods

"Gabriella, you slowly approach the piano and rest an arm on it naturally" Miss Jenn says dramatically, I let out a giggle causing NiNi to playfully hit me

"Stop it's not funny" She says but I hide my face on her shoulder as i keep giggling

"SlOwLy ReSt YoUr ArM oN iT nAtUrAlLy" I mimic causing NiNi to laugh, she turns to me and notices our faces are close together and I do the same

My eyes go to her lips before looking back up to her eyes, I see her did the same and I smile at her as she blushes when she notices I caught her

"You can kiss them if you want" I say lowly causing her breath to hitch, just as she goes to respond, Miss Jenn interrupts us

"Okie dokie....take it from, wow that's really nice" She says and I nod and turn to NiNi

"Wow that's really nice" I say a bit enthusiastically, NiNi hums and I walk over to the piano and rest my arm on it as I face NiNi

"It's hard to believe that I couldn't see, you were always there beside me" I sing with a smile on me face causing her to smile as she walks over

"But I was alone with no one to hold, but you were always there beside me" NiNi sings as she looks at me dreamily and I smile back at her

"This feelings like no other, I want you to know..I've never had someone who knows me like you do..the way you do" We sing together, I look over and see E.J is fuming and my sister is giddy as can be

"I've never had someone who's good for me as you, no one like you" We sing and I naturally move towards her as the song plays out, I come up behind NiNi and smile as I put my hand on the piano next to her hand

"So lonely before...I finally found what I've been looking for" We sing and NiNi and I look at each other as we sing this last part

We sing the rest and I grab NiNi's hands and spin her around before pulling her close and she puts her hands on my shoulders as we sing and smile, I laugh a bit and she does the same

NiNi does a vocal run and I laugh a bit as she does this dramatically, the song ends and we hear a noise causing us to look up and see E.J storming out

"Wow,..that was amazing I love the movement and the chemistry you twooo" Miss Jenn says and I smile and look to NiNi

"Sorry I'm late, my mom caught and earlier flight...where are we" Ricky says coming in late

"Scene seven" Carlos says, Ricky nods and sits down in the crowd

I look over and see NiNi staring at him causing me to sigh and look down, I forgot about him for a second...about the battle to her heart still has Ricky in it

"People we come to this rehearsal prepared and ready to focus.....Ricky can you see me in my office please....rehearsal over" Miss Jenn says as she leads Ricky out, NiNi instantly gets her stuff and heads out of the room swiftly causing me heart to crack a bit

I shake it off and grab my stuff and head out with Gina

"Soooo that performance was something wasn't it...I can see your more confident then you were before" She says as she bumps me and I let out a small laugh

"Yea but it didn't last long with her attention immediately going to Ricky" I say sadly, my sister stops me in my tracks and makes me face her

"Grayson.....that girl likes you, no doubt about it and yes she ran after Ricky but Ricky was her childhood best friend and he looked upset so she's gonna care when he's upset no matter what" Gina says, I sigh as I know she's right

"Your right.....I'll chill out but I can't promise she likes me, I still have to prove myself" I say before heading off to the bus stop

"Where are you goin....Ashlyn offered us a ride home" She says and I quickly try to make something up on the spot

"I just need to do something real quick...plus I need to think" I say and Gina nods and hugs me before walking off with Ashlyn

I watch her get in the car before I sprint off to the bus stop and catch the bus just in time and get on it

I pay for my trip before sitting down and feeling my anxiety come in

Am I really about to do this

A/n haven't uploaded on this one in a while, trying to do more updated but I may start working so I may be updating less or more based off my recent lack of activity but hey...life happens
