Waking up next to you

For the rest of my life,

if the first thing I saw in the

mornings was your face,

that would be enough for me.

I wouldn't need any motivation to get up,

nor a morning motivational playlist,

because you are right next to me,

and for you I would do anything.

If you only knew how much you mean to me,

and how big of an impact you've made on my life,

you'd understand why all I want is to be with you.

The only thing allowed to interrupt my dreams are your snores,

although I may not admit it,

I could care less if you had bad sleeping habits,

Heck, even if you sleep walked,

I'd sleep walk with you around the house.

What would matter to me would be getting up early,

Watching you sleep while I prepare everything for the day,

and making a breakfast while letting the smell wake you up.

Just waking up next to you would be enough,

I'd do anything and everything just to be able to,

and when I finally get to, I'll never have enough of it.

Even if we fight, and someone gets sent to the lizard's room,

I'll still sleep next you and be happy.

So honey, let me wake up next to you everyday,

for the rest of our lives,

and ill do everything to make our

home everything you dreamed of.

Yes, hopefully the lizards (pets) will have their own space instead of being scattered all over the house. The only exception is my baby iggy, and you my lizard honey. :)
