I don't understand my friends.

Today I was planning on going to the movies with them, but they said they wanted to go people watching at the park instead. As the disaster third wheel I am, I agreed to completely change our plans, even though we're best friends and I shouldn't have to. So they sat around talking about astronomy and things like that. The one thing I felt good about today was seeing someone that dropped a twenty dollar bill and asked "Ma'am, is this yours?" She looked old enough to find interest in jigsaw puzzles, which is fine, by the way. My family line would've done the same, so I think that's where I get the ability to have everyone to walk on top of me. They raised me as a summer child, but I still hated the heat in the park. The whole day I felt like a footnote in my friend's memories. I just wanted to find the exit and leave.
