Chapter Two: There's No "I" In Team

Max POV

Shane, Tori, Dustin and I are in our ninja uniforms, we walk through a desert, as our wrists are tied together. Mine was tied to Tori.

"Come on, you guys." Shane said, as he pulled us. "Ow! Shane!" Tori complains. "Be careful." I said. "This can take all day." Shane said, as he pulled. "Ow! Shane, will you stop pulling? My wrist is totally twigged." Tori said. "Yeah, be more careful." I added.

"Sorry, Tori. Max. It would be so much faster, if we could just split up." Shane said. "Not to mention less painful." Tori said. "Agree." I said.

"You know, the scroll of four thing better be worth it, man. These cuffs are brutal." Dustin said. "Sensei... It's gotta be here somewhere." Shane said, as he pulled. "Ow!" Tori, Dustin and I said.

"What kind of scroll are we talking about anyway?" Dustin asked. "I'm thinking if we saw a scroll anywhere around here, that's probably it." Tori answered. All of us stopped. "Well, there's one." I said, as I pointed at it.

"Wow. That's really it." Tori said. Shane pulls us, and rushed towards the scroll. "Wait! It says something." I said, as we got to it.

"Stronger than one than four." I said, as he read the scroll. "What? What that say?" Shane questioned. "We'd be better off with fortunes cookies." Dustin exclaimed. "Let's just grab it an bail." Tori said. "I'll get it!" Shane said, as he pulls us, and we got thrown towards it.

"Who's on my foot? Shane!" Dustin said. "That is so not effective." Tori said. "Definitely not." I said. "I'll do this myself." Shane muttered.

Suddenly Kelzaks appeared. "Kelzak, party of ten." Dustin said. We begin fighting the Kelzaks. Shane pulls us. "Will you stop pulling my arm, Shane!" Tori said. We dodged an attack. I was about to punch a Kelzak with my right hand, but the cuffs stops me.

"Dustin, look out!" Shane said, as he picks Dustin up. All of us begin dodging the Kelzaks attacks, as he attack them, but we couldn't do much with the cuffs. All of us fell, the Kelzaks attack us, and it broke the cuffs.

The cuffs fell. "Stay here, I'll get the scroll." Shane said, as he went towards the scroll. "Wait!" I said, but got distracted as I fought the Kelzaks.

Tori, Dustin and I got thrown to the ground. "Dude!" Dustin called. "Shane!" I called. "Help us!" Tori said. "Tori! Dustin! Max!" Shane called, as the Kelzaks was about to attack us, and the simulation stops.

"Simulation over. Well, that was below average." Cam commented. "You said it." I said. "It will be on the mainframe if you want to relive any of it." Cam said, as he picks up his laptop and left. "Rangers, you are lucky this was all a simulation." Sensei said.

"Sensei, why can't we get this right?" Tori asked. "Why do we keep failing?" I asked. "That is for you to figure out. Tomorrow, we will try again." Sensei said, and he left. "Come on, Tori, Max." Dustin said, as we were about to leave.

"Hey, wait. Where are you guys going?" Shane asked. "Home, man." Dustin replied. "No way, not until we get this right." Shane said. "Sensei said, we'll try again tomorrow." I said. "And dude, if I don't get enough sleep, tomorrow will just be a replay of today." Dustin said.

"Look, that's why we gotta keep practicing, until you guys get it right." Shane said. "Until we get it right?" Tori questioned. "Look, that is not what I meant." Shane said. "Oh, we knwo what you meant." Tori said, as we were about to leave.

Shane rushed up, and stops us. We turned towards him. "This is not ninja school anymore. This is the real deal, and if you're not going to focus, on what's important, than I-" Shane said, as he got interrupted.
