~Karube pov ~ I were surprisingly able to pull Chota and Arisu after me through our rush towards the game arena . I were worrying about Afuro the whole time too. But since she's with Tatta I doubt that dude would let something happen to her . We all woke up in front of an arena and we walked in to see a desk having a few phones on the table. Would this be a way to find out what just happened and why Tokyo is empty ? I'll never know until we see more people. Each of us grabbed our phones and waited for more participants. "Oh look..phones .. " Chota exclaimed "Face recognition phones? That's more interesting . Would this be helpful with contacting someone?" He asked out of nowhere "They have no signal so I doubt they're meant to be used for that" Arisu answered. After a few minutes there was a woman walking towards us . We were all already registered for the game . "What is this?" Arisu asked "Oh look, a human..." Chota exclaimed. The woman didn't say a thing as we all Hoped. She immediately walked towards Chota who wore something on his neck that contained his name tag which must've been from His work so she threw it away as a strong noise ruined the silence " Once you get in,you can never come back. We are all meant to play these life or death games . If you don't participate you'll die ." She informed us ." There's no turning back once you've entered" the mysterious woman continued. Arisu walked closer to where the laser came from "Arisu,it's better if we stay where we are right now" I tried to stop him but then one more younger girl appeared out of nowhere"Oh my gosh, I didn't expect I'll finally find humans ..." the highschool girl tried to come closer and we all screamed out of Instinct just so she wouldn't put her life at risk but it was already too late since she already registered for the game "My condolences " the elder woman who joined us first told the younger girl for some unknown reasons and then an elevator was waiting for us to enter it . "By the way if I haven't introduced myself I'm Saori Shibuki,nice to meet you all . But if you don't cooperate we will all die . Come on ,follow me" the elder woman exclaimed and entered the elevator waiting for us all to follow her.Not gonna lie,I don't feel right about Shibuki. But I'd rather listen than die now . The highschool girl entered right after ,then we all followed her after Arisu Confirmed if it's the right decision. We all woke up in a square room that had two doors . Life or death . "The game is now being held " a voice told us in a microphone "we have 5 players registered. Game life or death. You have to get out of the place in the limit of time you're given,good luck " We were all looking at each other totally being confused . "This is getting interesting " Chota said while slowly filming " "Arisu ,what are we gonna do" I asked and looked towards the doors checking them Carefully " I want to go home.." the highschool girl groaned " Don't worry, you're with us ."Chota responded to the scared girl "Once we get out and we recieve our prize we will go back to our lives" "Prize?" The little girl asked " The answer is life " the elder woman exclaimed . "Hurry up and open it ." "How do you know ?" I asked her "I mean it's obvious it can't be death. Open it" she started raising her voice at us all "Do you smell something as well? " Chota asked "FIRE?!" I raised my voice in panick "HURRY UP AND OPEN THE DOOR" the woman screamed again as we all answered she should do it ~40 seconds remaining~ " I can't take this anymore!"The highschool girl started crying and chose the wrong path by opening the life door. A laser had her killed so we watched her fall dead to the ground. Then the other woman ran towards the death door and opened it. We all followed Shibuki,but Chota who was too shocked to talk couldn't move an inch "CHOTA" Arisu screamed and helped Chota into the other room. "She's dead .... She really died " I said it in an irritated tone while looking at my other two friends "Shibuki,since you killed her,please open the next door" I exclaimed "Why should I ? " she shown the fact she was irritated too"I killed her because my life was more important for all the men kind " she continued. I felt my anger grow in me and I raised my voice at her"Aren't you ashamed to be talking about this ?! " I walked towards her but I were more worried about my friend who was throwing up "Arisu ,do you have any ideas ?" I turned to look at Arisu whom I knew very well he's be able to figure games out" "Karube ,this is not a game..." Arisu groaned " This isn't a game I'm telling you. It's based on our luck " he continued "I think those doors are made according to whoever opens them . The one who makes it alive means they may be lucky " the woman exclaimed "Shut it!" I stopped her "I will refuse any other type of sacrifice ."Arisu please Solve this game "I continued and our time was only shortening every single time "there must've been a hint somewhere ." I've continued "Arisu, you're our last hope ! " "Karube I told you I can't do this . This isn't a game " Arisu kept screaming " Well we all entered the building , there was a map before elevator .." I continued "I told you I can't do it " Arisu kept groaning "ARISU THIS IS A GAME WE ARE ONLY COUNTING ON YOU SINCE YOU ALWAYS SOLVED PUZZLES THAT WERE IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO SOLVE! " I raised my voice in frustration "And there's no way to reset this either . Arisu while I were working my ass off you played games all day long ! " I kept talking "Karube , I told you I can't do this. And what makes you so big?! All you know is just to fight others. " Arisu continued but he snapped back at me "I'm sorry .. at this point .." I mumbled and punched him in the face and we watched Arisu fall to the ground "Karube ,stop this" Chota cried and tried to stop me "Wait a minute ... " Arisu stood up "Arisu are you-?"Chota tried to talk but I shushed him as a sign I know Arisu is thinking of something . " There was a bmw 326..." Arisu mumbled and made something using his hand gestures "The answer is death!" He exclaimed "How do you know ?" The woman asked {45 seconds left} Arisu ran towards the door but I stopped him again just to assure he knew what he was doing"Are you sure it's death?" I asked but he then begged"Please be death please be death" he got the courage to open the door and we noticed nothing happened "So this MUST BE IT !" Arisu screamed and hurried us all. "Arisu you're so great " Chota exclaimed happily after falling on the ground alongside with me and the woman . ~Time skip~ After moments of opening more and more doors Shibuki,Arisu,Karube and Chota made it through the exit. Chota had his leg burnt. They found a 3 of ♣️ card and recieved days on their visas . So the 4 of them stopped by in an apartment. . . . To be continued In the next chapter . . I'll introduce Shibuki as a new character Saori Shibuki
