a week went by since the Sakura Empire's attack on Azur Lane,preparations on both sides had been done extensively in order to attain the great possibility of success,gathering,training,preparing had all been done but both sides still had the same plan

bring out the Orochi for testing and Destroy Azur Lane and Destroy the Orochi at all costs,minds had been steeled and boths sides were ready to make their move as the large fleets took to the waves and sailed out to complete their objectives

on the Sakura Empire's side,Mutsu and Nagato had readied themselves to fight their biggest opponent,Nagaro was the threat to their plans that they could not guarantee a successful victory against,due to that fact,they have decided to personally take on the duty of fighting him,leaving Yamato in charge of the fleet once they begin their battle

on Iron Blood's side,Bismarck was ready to commit the main majority of her fleet for the inevitable battle that Azur Lane would start,they would support the Sakura Empire in anyway they can to ensure the Orochi's safety

the Sirens were around and lurking,waiting for the show to begin as they made their own preparations in order to achieve their own goals within the bigger picture that the battle would hold up

on Azur Lane's side was the one of the biggest projections of fire and airpower across the sea,almost everyone was present in the fleet that would attack,leaving on the bare sufficient amount of Shipgirls to defend the base from large Siren attacks

Nagaro and Kasumi knew their role and knew their objective,all they were was a distraction and a means to buy time as well as Azur Lane's means of escape when things get dire,they simply had to keep the Sirens and Iron Blood away from the fight,leaving Azur Lane to take on the Sakura Empire and Orochi on their own

Nagaro had some confidence in Azur Lane as Yorktown had managed to reorganize the entirety of the Eagle Union for maximum efficiency and the Royal Navy had greatly picked up the pace of preparations but there was still a large room for doubt 

there was no guarantee that they could destroy the Orochi on their own,Azur Lane knew little about it and there was no way to gather anymore information,especially at this stage of events,where everyone had their guard up,there was no more room for discussions,all disputes would end with a battle and with only one coming out on top

Nagaro,who was already fully ready for the battle to come was standing on the water with his rigging already on him as he looked out to the horizon,scanning the area for any recconasance groups that might be nearby,his focus was obstructed however as he felt the familiar presence of his fellow Sakura Empire ship that walked up to him from behind with her rigging equipped while she wielded her weapon 

Nagaro:Kasumi?

Kasumi:you're very tense Sir Nagaro

Nagaro:are you not?

Kasumi:I trust that things will go well in the battle,I'm sure we will succeed

Nagaro:you're optimism is admirable but we can't be sure of the results

Kasumi:we may not be sure of the results but we can be sure that we all will do our best to play our part 

Nagaro:do you believe that you're ready to take on Iron Blood on your own

Kasumi:I was trained by the best the fighter in the Empire and the strongest ship to be seen by the factions for the past week and more,I'm confident that I'll do well in the upcoming fight
