Friday. The last day of Jimin's punishment and the last day that Minjeong is going to fetch her.

Minjeong is sitting quietly inside the car while studying their latest company data. Despite of the current crisis in the country, their revenues are still stable. Minju did great at his recent visits and meetings, she thought as she closed the folder that held the company papers.

She looks at the scenario outside and heaves a deep sigh when she was greeted by the rain stained car window not letting her get a clear view of the parking lot. It is raining so heavily that the sound of the rain hitting the car roof echoed so loud inside the vehicle.

She checks the time on her watch, 7:38 pm. She stared at it trying to make the time go by faster because the cold was slowly seeping in its way to her skin. But as expected nothing happened. The steady pace of the clock hand remained.

With nothing else left to do she relaxed her back on her seat and thought about how could Jimin still swim in this damn condition. She is sure that the water is much colder than usual because of the wind howling outside and the rain splattering the pavement like there's no tommorow. Just thinking about swimming right now is giving her chills which made her tighten her coat around her little body to get some more warmth.

She checks her watch again, 7:40pm.

"Mr. Jung, let's go to that noodle place near the park please." Minjeong ordered the man sitting behind the wheel. A nod was exchanged between them and soon enough the black tesla was driving outside the university parking lot.

The car was running on a steady pace because of the heavy rain pouring outside. Minjeong knew that Mr. Jung was only driving carefully and there was nothing she could do about it. As much as she hates to be late, this one could pass as an exception.

Time check, 7:48pm.

She is surely gonna be a bit late. Minjeong then took out her phone and scrolled down to the only unnamed number in her contacts and proceeded to type in her message.

"I might be a bit late. Keep your butt still over there Yoo."

Once they reached their destination, Minjeong couldn't help but roll her eyes at the line of people waiting to get their order at the counter.

Yeah, a bit late. Just a bit late, Minjeong. She mumbled to herself.

A cough and a raspy voice intervened Minjeong's self discussion as she met Mr. Jung's gaze on the rearview mirror, "Ms. Kim?" He asked patiently at the girl sitting at the back.

"The usual but make it three orders." She answered before turning her attention to the windshield infront swaying left and right in a timed rhythm to keep the drops of rain away from the glass.

The black tesla returned to the parking almost an hour after it left earlier. The wind has calmed down but it is still raining.

Minjeong looks at her phone to check if Jimin have left any messages. Nothing. She looks outside to see if Jimin was already waiting for her but she was only greeted by the rain continuously falling down the ground.

8:25pm. Minjeong tried to call her phone but Jimin wasn't picking up. She tries again but it ended up with the same result as the first one. One click of her tongue paired with a heavy sigh, that's it. Jimin is getting into her nerves.

Why isn't she picking up? Is this her way of getting back at me for not answering her call when she first called me?

Not wanting to lose her temper, Minjeong sat still and closed her eyes as she leaned back against the car seat.
