Karan and his family had just arrived. Karan took blessings from Raghuveer and sits on the sofa with his parents. (Sameer is at Luthra Mansion as he got hurt and hence he was resting)
Raghuveer: Shrishti ja beta Preeta ko le aa.
Shrishti nods and goes to Preeta's room to call her.
She reached her rooma nd saw her setting her hair.

Shrishti: Di aap to bohot khubsurat dikh rahe ho.
Preeta: Thank you meri jhalli.
Shrishti: Mein jhalli nahi hu. (Teasing her) Aur aap neeche chalo mere hone wale jiju aa gaye hai.
Preeta: Hone wala jiju nahi hai wo tera maine haa nahi bola abtak iss rishtey ke liye aur naa hi bolungi.
Shrishti: Arre aap dekh to lo hone wale jiju ko aap bhi flat ho jaoge.
Preeta: Apni bakwaas band kar aur neeche chal.
They both go down.
Shrishti was holding Preeta and they both were coming downstairs.
Mahesh and Rakhi see her with adoration.(Karan went out as he got a call from his office).
Rakhi: Puttar tu to badi sohni hai.
Preeta: Thank you aunty ji.
Karan comes from door.

And goes towards sofa to sit but stops seeing her. First he got lost in her beauty but came back to senses and shouted.
Karan: TUM!??
Preeta too looked up and shouted.
Preeta: TUM!??
Rakhi: Tum dono ek dusre ko pehle se jaante ho?
Karan: Haa wo Sammy ko chot lagi thi to isi ne check karke plaster bandha tha.
Rakhi: Ye to aur achi baat hai. Kyu bhaisahab?
Raghuveer: Ji bilkul. Preeta beta tum ek kaam karo Karan beta ko apne kamre mein leke jaao.
Preeta: Ji papa.
Preeta and Karan left to Preeta's room.
In Preeta's room.
As soon as they reached there Preeta said.
Preeta: Dekho mujhe shaadi mein koi interest nahi hai. Ye to papa ki wajah se maine haa keh dia Milne ke liye. Tumhe koi galatfehmi na ho jaye isiliye pehle hi bata rahi hoon.
Karan: Mujhe bhi shaadi mein koi interest nahi hai. Mein bhi apne mom dad ke liye hi yaha aaya hu.
Preeta: Oo.........Ye to aur achi baat hai naa hi mujhe tumse shaadi karni hai naa hi tumhe mujhse shaadi karni hai matlab ye shaadi cancel.
Karan: Haa jab hum dono ko hi interest nahi hai shaadi karne mein to fir iss shaadi ka koi matlab hi nahi hai. To hum abhi neeche jaake apne parents ko mana kar dete hai.
Preeta: Haa chalo.
She turns to go but again turns and says.
Preeta: Neeche Chalke naa tum hi mana kardena iss shaadi ke liye. Kyuki agar mein mana karungi to papa ko bura lagega aur unhe ye lagega ki unki wajah se maine pressure mein aakar tumse milne ke liye taiyaar hui. Aur unki tabiyat kharab ho jaayegi.
Karan: Acha thik hai chalo.
They both go downstairs.
In hall.
Rakhi, Mahesh and Raghuveer see Preeta and Karan coming. So Rakhi asks.
Rakhi: Kya hua puttar? Tum dono ki haa hai na?
Karan: Wo.....(he was going to say when he saw Mahesh who was looking at him with hope).
Rakhi: Kya hua kuch bol..
Karan (in mind): Dad kitne mahino se bimaar hai lekin aaj subah ye rishte ki baat sunkar vo ekdum thik ho gaye unhe dekh ke lagta hi nahi hai ki wo bimaar the. Agar maine mana kardia to Dad kahi first bimaar na ho jaaye.
Karan: Wo.....kahi nahi...mujhe ye rishta manzur hai.
Preeta looks at him with wide eyes.
Rakhi, Mahesh and Raghuveer start congratulating each other.
When Preeta shifts a little towards him and whispers.
Preeta(whispers): Tumne haa kyu kaha maine tumhe mana kiya tha na.
Karan(whispers back): Haa lekin mere pass koi option nahi tha. Mere dad aaj kitne mahino baad thik hue hai kitne khush lag rahe hai. Agar mein mana kardeta to vo firse stress leke bimaar ho jaate.
Preeta looks at their parents who were discussing about them very happily.
Preeta (whispers): Tum sahi keh rahe ho. Aaj papa bhi bohot khush lag rahe hai. Maine unhe itna khush kabhi nahi dekha.
Raghuveer realises and says .
Raghuveer: Ji ek minute.(to Preeta) Preeta......beta tujhe ye rishta manzur hai? Agar tujhe manzur nahi hai to mein mana kardunga.
Preeta looks at her father who was seeing her with hope. She then looks at Rakhi and Mahesh.
Rakhi: Haa beta agar tumhe manzur nahi hai to koi baat nahi.
Preeta: Nahi aunty mujhe koi problem nahi hai (looks at Karan who was also looking at her) mujhe ye rishta manzur hai.
They start congratulating and Raghuveer asks Shrishti to bring sweets.
She brings them.
Everyone feeds each other.
Rakhi: Vo bhaisahb...... Vo Preeta ki mummy ji nahi dikh rahi hai.
Preeta suddenly looks at her and tears brimberred in her eyes remembering her mother.
Rakhi looks at Preeta and sees her crying.
Rakhi: Maine kuch galat puch liya kya.
Raghuveer: Vo Preeta jab 9 saal ki thi tab hi uski maa ka accident ho gaya tha.
Rakhi: Mujhe maaf kar dijiyega mujhe pata nahi tha.
Raghuveer: Koi baat nahi. Isme aap ki koi galti nahi hai.
While Preeta couldn't control herself so she immediately ran to her room murmuring 'sorry'.
