I hear an unfamiliar voice as I awaken, "Hey, it's... time to get up." he says.
I look up at him untrustingly, and question, "Um... who are you?"
He raises his eyebrows and points at his badge,
*E.J.* it reads.I laugh at myself, half sarcastically, "Oh... right. What was I even thinking, heh..."
Just as he's about to leave the room, I catch him by saying, "Wait-"
He turns back around and awaits my next sentence,
"Why am I here?" I ask him, but not agreeing, he turns back around until I ask again, "Will you at least, answer my question, just one, please?"
He takes a breath, "Hmm." he pauses before continuing to explain, "It's better that you just cooperate and don't talk about anything."
"Oh-okay??" I say quietly.
"Breakfast is down the hall," he explains before turning to leave once again.
"Where's Madi?" I shout, asking without thinking, to which he turns around to face me again, and just shrugs.
I raise my eyebrows and mouth, "Thanks" before he finally turns around for good and leaves the room.

Later in the DayI submitted a special request to shower down the hall and as I'm walking there, I'm apparently not looking where I'm going and bump into someone, to which I say loudly, "Ow! Would you watch where you're go..." I look up and see that it's E.J. "Oh! Hi..." I say, partially embarrassed.
"Hmm, well maybe I wouldn't have to if you weren't little miss clumsy?" he responds,
I reply, "Thanks a lot... I'm going back to my room, no sense being in danger more than I already am."
"I'm not dangerous?" he narrows his eyebrows and responds.
"Mmhmm, sure you aren't," I reply back.

Even Later in the Day
I hear a knock at my door.
"Come in, I guess," I say.
It's E.J. again. Wow seeing him three times in one day, what did I ever do to deserve such an honor?
"Kaelya is it?" he asks breaking me out of my thoughts.
"It's Makaelya," I correct him.
"Hmm," he mumbles.
"Why are you always saying, 'hmmm.'?" I ask him
"I don't know. You're the confusing one," he says back.
"Hmmm." I then say.
"Uh- now you're doing it," he says, pointing out.
I laugh, "What can I say, I think you must be influencing me, now what's up?" I ask him.
"I brought you something to say sorry for bumping into you earlier," he explains, presenting to me a blueberry muffin and scone.
"Thank you," I reply.
"Now, Madi's location?" I ask him, sensing he might slip me more information this time.
"Downstairs since she's under 18," he responds, proving me right.
"How did you know that?" I ask him, again.
"I don't know," he shrugs indifferently before walking away,
"Wait! Can't you stay?" I ask him.
He turns back around and answers, "I'm going to go check on her, hmm?"
"Oh- okay, thank you, E.J.," I say back, thanking him.
"It's... Elliott." he corrects me while smiling just a little.
"Oh okay, Eliott, thank you," I say again, smiling back.
