Sorry for not posting in awhile. I didn't have any ideas. However, i think i have something in mind for a second part to this oneshot. I was going to write it all in one but i figured it would just be better to split it into two parts because i have alot to work on right now. It wont take as long to upload the next part tho.

If anyone has any ideas for oneshots feel free to comment cause i need inspiration ;3;

Sorry this oneshot is a bit shorter than what I usually do.

You couldn't help but snicker. "I don't think that's how the sky works bud." "It isn't?" Sun seemed baffled. He placed down the puppets, scratching one of his rays to emphasize confusion. "But... that's what the kids told me!" You couldn't help but feel amused at his naivety, though the fact he didn't know amazed you.

"You see, the sky doesn't just fade into another...and the sun and moon can't just disappear." You sat up, brushing off your uniform. "If that were the case then the moon wouldn't be able to glow." His head cocked to the side, "So the suns invisible at night?" You shook your head, "No no, the earth rotates on its-" you cut yourself off, his perplex mannerism still prominent. Were you really about to give an animatronic a science lessen?

You huffed, crossing your arms as you pondered. Sun resumed his duties as you conjured a plan. The two of you had been discussing what day to day human life is like. Though, it brought up more complex topics that you were unable to breakdown. It became more prevalent as you two conversed that there were some basic life factors he wasn't conscious of. How could you visualize at least a fraction of what life is like out there to him?

A lightbulb went off. "Hey Sunny?" "hm?" He turned his attention towards you; a box of toys in his grasp. "How would you like to go outside?" His rays popped at the idea but quickly retracted. "But doesn't that go against the pizzaplex policies?" Your shoulders shrugged as you joined him in tidying up. "You know it's against my programming to leave the daycare, let alone the pizzaplex!"

You faintly hummed, "Who says I can't change that?" His motions grew stagnant; systems whooshing and buzzing. "...how?" He murmured. "Look, ive seen Vanessa toil with your systems enough to know the basics." His posture shifted; displeased. "Sunshine...my programming is alot more complicated then it seems" You shoved your hands into your pockets. "Don't stress sunnybun, it's just me deactivating some protocols is all." You commented playfully in an attempt to lighten the mood.

"Y/N, I appreciate what you're trying to do but we'd both be rule-breakers!" "Loosen up a little! You don't deserve to be cooped up here all th-" "Sunbite, please." His irritation was seeping through. The atmosphere drew quiet. You'd rarely seen him agitated before so you had to admit you were surprised.

(Timeskip)

You sighed in relief. You both had finished cleaning duties, yet the silence remained. You glimpsed over at Sun who was contently skipping around a block tower. Your fingers fidgeted; the stillness was nauseating.

Sluggishly, you shifted over to him. "Sunny?..." you muttered. He halted before meeting your gaze. "Are you still mad?" He jolted "Mad? Why would I be mad?" You rubbed your arm, "Erm, cause earlier about the whole 'changing your programming' thing." You chuckled uncomfortably.

His spikes whirled before clicking back into place. He stepped towards you; his hands making contact with your shoulders. "No no! I wasn't mad, just... a little annoyed is all." He worded his phrases carefully. "I just don't think its fair for you to be caged up in here 24/7. I mean, even the others get to roam the pizzaplex." He swayed a little, withdrawing his hand; his bells ringed. "Its fine! Pinky promise! I like my job, I just get a little curious is all." He held out his pinky. You giggled but complied with the silly gesture.

"Okay, and I pinky promise not to mess with your coding... for now." You grinned as his systems huffed; he folded his arms. "What! I gotta ask Vanessa for some lessons first, then I can abuse my power by taking you outside." "I'd still be a rule breaker..." you peered down at your shoes, "yeah, suppose you got a point."

Another idea popped into mind. You slipped out your phone, clicking on your photo album. You could feel Sun loom over you, "whatcha doin?" You didn't reply as you kept scrolling. Your eyes locked on the photo you were searching for, perfect.

You fixed yourself at a better angle, allowing sun to see it better. You made sure to up your screen brightness. "This is what my house looks like." His motors thrummed. His attention now glued to your screen as you flipped through memories. "Here's some of my family." His hand clapped eagerly, "You should invite them over to the daycare oneday!" "...maybe" you hesitantly responded. Next was a photo you wished he could see in person.

"This is what you're modeled around!" The image pulled up was of the sky. He beamed, "oh- it's lovely! I've seen it in picture books but never in such clarity!" You nodded, "I got more, or I can just simply search for some." You headed to your browser and after a few moments you pulled up various pictures of the sky. Sunsets, sunrise, twilight, midnight, all the sorts.

You both began spending your last hour on the shift talking and searching about the outdoors. You discussed topics such as the fragrance of flowers, or the fresh earthy scent after a spring shower. You tried your best to explain it to him. Either way, he was invested.

You couldn't help but feel disheartened at the fact that he was enable to experience these things for himself. Though, it was okay with the sun animatronic. Seeing you enjoy these things and being there with you was good enough for him.
