49. Jungkook: What If He's Dead? Part 1

Jin's POV

We have fun plans today, we are supposed to be filming at an amusement park, but I can't help but to worry about our dear maknae. He ended up with the flu which started 2 days ago, and the company was so generous to give us the last 2 days off to care of him but now we have to get back to our schedule and Jungkook is still ill. The company has allowed him to take the time off needed to recover but there is going to be no one here to take care of him.

"Jungkook, we are about to head out. Are you sure there is nothing you need?" I ask and he groans.

"Hyung I am 23 years old, I can take care of myself." He huffs out and I sigh.

"Remember to take your temperature in about an hour and a half and to take some more fever reducers, thats been the killer thing the last 2 days, there is soup in the fridge you just need to heat it up and drink plenty of water, also sleep no video games and call if you need anything." I run down my list and he huffs and rolls his eyes the whole time.

"Again I am 23, go have fun and don't worry about me." He says and I sigh and leave his room.

"Ready hyung and is the kid aware we are leaving?" Yoongi asks as I run into him in the hallway. I sigh and nod still thinking about how I wish one of us could stay back to take care of him, not that I don't trust him I just have a bad feeling.

"Hyung, what's wrong?" Yoongi asks and I sigh and shake my head.

"Its nothing, pretty stupid actually, I am just worried about him being home alone is all." I explain and Yoongi nods.

"I get it hyung you are like everyone's mom and you just want everyone safe, so not being here to get him better is a hard thing, cause how can he rest if he is taking care of himself?" Yoongi states and I feel this weight off my shoulders, just because someone understands. I smile and he smiles back and puts his arm around my shoulders and guides me down the hall to the stairs. We walk into the entryway and see everyone waiting by the door ready to go and I put my shoes on listening to the commotion.

"Do I have to go hyung, maybe Jin is right, someone should stay here with Jungkook, I volunteer." Hoseok states as he is talking to Yoongi. He has been trying to get out of going since we found out about it.

"Hobi, our manager said that we all have to go plus we are already missing Jungkook, so yes you have to go and Jin gave Jungkook the mom talk so he will be okay until we get back." Yoongi rants and I can't help but to chuckle lightly. Hoseok groans and we are headed out the door. I look into the house one last time before pulling the door shut and locking it. I hate that I have such a bad feeling about this.

Jungkook's POV

I have literally been looking forward to today since we found out that everyone had 2 days off to take care of me and then they go back to it and I get to get better. Don't get me wrong I love the members and sometimes I enjoy being cared for but Jin hyung can get a little crazy when one of us gets sick. He has been in my room every 6 hours with medicine since I first threw up and they found out I have a fever. I will say I understand it because it's been a high fever the whole time, and I almost had to go to the hospital but still it's just a little overbearing. I plan on spending today playing video games and just chilling because I haven't thrown up in over 10 hours so I think I should try real food, also some coffee sounds amazing right now with how tired and ache I feel. I head down to the living room after I know for sure they have left and I start booting up the game console, as I wait for it to wake up and load I head to the kitchen and turn on the oven cause I am gonna have some pizza. While the oven heats I start brewing some coffee, I put the pizza in the oven and walk over to the cabinet and grab a bag of chips. I pour myself some coffee and make sure the timer for the pizza is on before I head back into the living room. I start to play my games and I am playing for about a half hour when I hear the timer go off, I pause my game and stand up to head to the kitchen and I feel this sudden dizziness that sends me back down into my seat and I feel this sudden flash of heat like I am on fire. I wait a minute and try again, this time I don't instantly collapse but I still feel dizzy. I get to the kitchen and get the pizza out and I turn to grab the pizza cutter and I feel lightheaded. I try to sit down but before I know I am safely on the floor my vision goes black.

Jimin's POV

We are at the amusement park and have been here for about 45 minutes and Jin is just freaking out about Jungkook being alone.

"Hyung he will be fine, now let's get on this ride and then we will grab something to eat and while we eat we can call him and remind him to take his medicine, deal?" I offer and he sighs but nods his head. We wait about 5 minutes and then we climb on the ride. It was a fun ride. I just wish they lasted a little longer. We climbed off and we all look at each other. I see Hobi is super pale, but he doesn't like these kinds of things and we have now been on 4 in a row.

"Guys let's get some food, I think Hobi needs a break and also we can give Jungkook a call to remind him of medicine and also to calm Jin hyung's mind." I says and they all nod and we look around for a place to grab some food. I spot this little popup dinner across the way and I point it out, we all agree and head that direction. Once we have ordered and we wait for our food Jin hyung pulls out his phone and dials who I am assuming is Jungkook. After about a minute he pulls the phone away from his ear and redials this time putting it on speaker. We all hear it ringing and then it goes to voicemail. I see panic flash through Jin hyung's eyes.

"Hyung, it's okay I will try him, he always answers me." I say and pull out my phone and wait for it to go through but once again voicemail. I am starting to get a little worried because Jungkook has never ignored 3 calls.

"Guys, I think we should head home, I have had a bad feeling all day and I just won't be able to enjoy myself for the fans if I don't know Jungkook is alright." Jin hyung says and I sigh.

"Let's get the food to go and then we will head back to the house and eat there and since we are only about 5 minutes away from the park, we will just come back afterwards." I say and they nod.

"Yeah I could use a break from the sun." Yoongi hyung says, causing us all to laugh.

"I could use a break in general." Hobi hyung whimpers out and we all coo. It's decided that we are headed home for a while.
