You sat down at the table, his parents staring back at you. You were terrified, but Jin's hand on your leg underneath the table was incredibly reassuring.
"So, Y/N, Jin tells us you are studying for a PhD in history, how's that going?" His mother asked you.
"Tells us? He talks about nothing else," his father interrupted, "all he does is tell us how smart you are and how proud of you he is."
"Do you?"
A light blush found its way to Jin's cheeks making you chuckle. "I can't help it, I am very proud of you, you've worked really hard with your studies, I love telling people all about you and the things you do."
"History must be hard, how are you finding it all? I hope Jin is looking after you whilst you study."
"Of course, I am." His mom looked at you, not trusting her son's word.
You smiled up at him, "he is, he's really helpful actually, not with the history, just with breaks and massages when needed."
"We're really happy Jin has found someone as studious and intelligent as you Y/N." You instantly began to relax around his parents, all your fear disappearing.
"Thank you, it means a lot that you guys value my studies."

Another yawn escaped as your eyes scanned the pages of your textbook. It wasn't that you found the Victorians boring, just that you were really tired.
"Jagi," Yoongi whispered, coming up behind you, resting his head on your shoulder. "Why don't you come to bed for a while? You need some rest."
"I'm fine," you argued, "just having a little yawning spell."
He shook his head at your stubbornness, placing the marker in your book. "I know that work is getting to you, but a little nap will do you good, give your mind a rest and then refocus on the Victorians when you are a bit more alert again."
"Fine." He pulled you up, carrying you over to the bed.
"Don't let this get to you, I'm proud of you, not many people can say they have a PhD. It will be worth it in the end."
