sparkling with excited caution

Hazel watched the werewolf in the mirror, the dirty blonde brushing her messy raven locks while a soft smile decorated her scarred yet beautiful face. The little witch couldn't help but be curious about her. She was after all her first magical werewolf. A proper witch, bitten by a feral werewolf seeking vengeance on her father.

"Are you going to go with Siri to find the Rat?"

Remus glanced up from the intricate braid in her hands to peer into the emerald eyes that had plagued her dreams and nightmares, "What you have to understand about Padfoot, Baby Hazelnut, is that when he sets his mind to something, it's practically impossible to stop him. It's because of Peter that all this has happened to you, to him, to your parents and Sirius will not stop his search until that rat is either rotting in Azkaban or dead by his own hands."

The two of them turned their heads towards an affirmative hum.

Leaning against the doorway of Hazel's bedroom, was a particular witch studying her clawlike nails, "Yes, as much as my dearest cousin likes to ignore his blood status, Siri is a Black through and through, blood, bone and tissue."

Bellatrix tilted her head slightly, then met Remus's amber eyed gaze, "You didn't answer ickle Hazel-kins' question, Lupin."

The dirty blonde sighed and started to chew on her bottom lip before taking the youngest witch into her arms for a warm, motherly hug, "I will be, yes," she murmured in the Dark Lady's ear, "He has a much better chance at catching a stupid rat with a wolf at his side. And the sooner we find that traitorous, excuse my language, Baby, son of a bitch, the sooner we can come back to you."

Hazel twisted around on the stool, snatching back the attention of the amber eyed wolf with a confused expression, "If you didn't like Trixie in school, what made you follow her?"

Remus smiled, a little confused herself to be honest, "When Bella said that she needed me to put her cousin out of his misery and... well... she smelled like you, pomegranate fruit and raw honey."

The witch in particular raised a glass that she had pulled out of thin air, filling it to the brim with...well, it certainly wasn't red cordial, "Cousin Siri would mope when he wasn't going after Ratboy, wasn't hanging out the twin terror vamps or Hazel-kins."

The resident werewolf laughed lightly and shook her head, before pressing a kiss to the young girl's forehead, "Never in my entire life, did I ever think that Bellatrix Black would come to me and ask me to accompany her to her home," she stroked Hazel's black locks before she kissed her rosey cheek, "but I'm glad I did."

The young Dark Lady grinned brightly.

"Okay, my little Witch Hazel," Bellatrix strolled into the library where her baby girl was studying up on some different types of demons and curses to either kill, maim or trap them, "You're almost eleven now, so it's up to you whether you wanna go to an academy or continue your learning here at home with family and some tutors."

"I don't think any of the schools would teach a young Dark Witch useful or anything I don't already know," The ravenette turned her emerald green gaze away from the archaic book, her eyebrows quirked and her eyes lit up, "Didn't Remmi always want to be a professor?"

The Black then held a thoughtful expression as she pursed her lips, "That is true, ickle Hazel-kins."

"Do you think if maybe I were to ask her, she would teach me?"

"Oh, my precious Dark Lady, if I, Bellatrix Black cannot deny you, then she doesn't stand a chance."

Hazel smirked, going back to the book that she had found. Maybe she could show some of the things in it to her two friends. Obviously, not all of it because if Sammy or his brother ever found out what she truly was, they'd probably never want to talk to her ever again.

And she liked those boys. Despite Trixie and Nikki, Dae, Siri and Remmi, having two friends who were close to her own age and weren't bitchy, self absorbed girls, was the best.

Not to mention how funny it was that she could keep sneaking away from Trixie. But it was getting annoying that Dean kept making her drink a bit of Holy Water every time she found them.

"What are you thinking of, baby?" Bella stepped in closer, holding the girl tight to her body in a hug that they both seemed to need.

"Just thinking about how grateful I am, Trixie, that you found me before anything worse could have happened."

Bellatrix's mouth, usually twisted in that cruel smirk like she was just planning on different creative torture methods whenever she looked at anyone except her baby Dark Lady, curled at the edges in a sweet, probably still a little insane, smile, "Anything for you."

And out she walked.

Hazel often found that the best ideas always come when she's just about to fall asleep. Amazing ideas that she would forget the next morning. But one night, before the pleasant darkness overtook her mind, came the best idea in the whole world.

She was a Black. And her family was well known for their dark magic. And the young girl couldn't help but wonder what dark magic items the Black vault held. Well, what if there was something in there that could drain the curse from Nik?

The Dark Witch knew that Trixie kept a list of the things in her office and Hazel being Hazel just needed to look because she knew that she'd forget tomorrow.

Looking out the huge window by her bed, she could barely see the waxing moon, high in the night sky surrounded by the glittering stars. So by her guess, Hazel thought it to be around midnight and Trixie would definitely be asleep. The raven haired girl crawled across her king sized bed, slipping out from under her thick duvet cover and padded across the carpeted floor before slowly opening the door.

She peeked out, her green eyes sparkling with excited caution as she quietly tiptoed down the hallway to Trixie's office. Hazel had to stifle a giggle as she passed the older Black's room, knowing that Siri would probably love this.

Swinging open the door to her Trixie's office, Hazel shuffled over to the desk, knowing that all the paperwork was in the bottom drawer. Opening it, the young girl threaded her fingers together and popped her knuckles.

"Right then..."
