Where we host a variety of seasonal mini contests. This is a rather new initiative and we hope to grow our community's graphic and writing experience or anyone who is interested to join.

About Contest: This round we have a special April's Fools contest for everyone. April is derived from the Latin aperire meaning "to open"—signifying the opening or blossoming of flowers and trees. With that, the contest this time requires you to imbibe things that make you imaginative. Because it's time to get creative 🌈✨
Participant entries will only open from 2nd April 00:00 (GMT +8) onwards. Submissions will open on 5th April and close by 20th April 23:59 (GMT +8).
How To Win This Contest: You will have to craft a short story of 450 words –we will leave this up to your imagination on how many characters will be involved, when, where and how. The scene(s) can be a part of your story or the climax. There will be a list of words (as shown below under "The Word List") you need to include in your short story.
The most creative writer wins. You will be judged based on your ability to use the randomly assorted words in the best possible way. Other important points are that your story will be judged based on how it hooks the reader, grammatically correct, and still a well-thought out work.
The word limit is 450 words. You are allowed to co-write, but only one book will be featured. Your story may be part of a collection published under a general title but it will not be featured. (WE PREFER STANDALONE BOOKS PLEASE) You can write more than 1 chapter, as long as it does not exceed the word limit.
