POV Luisa

She was lying on her bed watching Ria's stream on her laptop. With a smile on her face she listened to Ria answering questions.

"Are you single?", Ria read out loud a smirk forming on her face, "I'm not actually".

Luisa had to bite her lip in order not to grin from ear to ear. Why, she didn't know no one was there anyway, but she had the slight feeling that her girlfriend knew exactly she was watching the stream.

The story of how they started dating was quite funny. Luisa had hooked up with Lando in croatia, which made Max so jealous that he confessed his feelinsg for Lando in front of almost all their friends. That's how these two started dating and well Luisa just stayed friends with them.

She had met Ria the first time when she was visiting the two lovebirds in England and the quadrant team had to film something. She had been starstruck the first time she saw Ria. The other woman causing her an unhealthy amount of gay panic.

Luisa hadn't managed to get a coherent sentence out when Ria introduced herself. She was a stuttering, blushing mess and she knew that Lando and Max would never let her live that Moment down.

They had exchanged numbers and started texting each other regurlarly after that. Texting quickly became flirting and the two of them met up again. Luisa was in England way more often and Ria visited her in Portugal or tagged along when she had a photoshoot.

Luisa wouldn't change it for anything.

"Look I won't tell you anything more about it at least not yet. But I'm not single and I'm very happy."

Luisa looked away from the stream for a second just to text her girlfriend.

She watched the smile spread across Ria's face when the other woman read the message.

"I love you too"

Her girlfriend responded, shamelessly winking at the camera, which caused Luisa to blush and try to hide her face eventhough Ria couldn't even see her.

Obviously the chat went crazy and it was moving so fast that Luisa couldn't read a single word anymore.

When Ria started gaming something, Luisa sat back and grabbed a book to read. Some may find it odd, but it was her favorite activity to while Ria was gaming.

She would sit in the room with her or like now have her stream on and just read. It meant spending time together eventhough they were not directly talking to each other. It just made sense to her.

A week later Luisa was on her way back from a photoshoot in Brasil. She longed for nothing more than a shower and her bed and preferably Ria to cuddle with, but her girlfriend was still in the UK.

Her mom picked her up from the airport, her dog happily wagging her tail in excitement to see her again. She greeted both of them , her mum with a hug and her dog with a cuddle. They drove back home in silence, occasionally humming to a song.

After a short greeting with the rest of her family Luisa went into her room to get out new sleeping clothes. When she opened the door though someone was lying in her bed.

"Lu?"

She couldn't quite believe it. In her bed was Ria, lying there with her glasses on looking so adorable it should be illegal.

Without thinking twice the younger woman threw herself on the bed hugging her girlfriend tight in the process.

"i missed you so much."

"Missed you to"

Luisa rested her head in her girlfriends neck, shamelessly just laying on top of her. Ria gently started caressing her back, giving her skull a scratch every now and then. They continued lying there in silence for a while, before Luisa lifted her head again.

"I wanted to shower wanna join me?"

"Always"

It was a sweet smile playing on Ria's face, both of them too tired to do anything further than actually shower.

Later when they were lying in bed the question on why Ria was even here came to Luisa's mind again, so she asked.

"I wanted to surprise you. I might've lied to you about having no time, but I didn't want to give the surprise away."
