Ding dong! "Hunter, the door!" I screamed from my bedroom upstairs. "I got it Piper!" He yelled back. I faintly heard the door open and shut before his voice called out once again. "Piper, come down here, it's for you!" "Is it fan mail again?!" "Just get down here!" "Ugh, fine."
I gathered the motivation to get off my phone, out of bed, down the stairs and into the kitchen before plopping down on a stool. "What is it," I asked. "I don't know, open it." Hunter flew it at me and the corner had almost hit me in the eye. "Hey, watch it." I gently tore open the mail. It was pretty wrapping, I couldn't lie. Inside was a yellow envelope that I looked up to Hunter as confirmation before tearing it open and reading the inside. I was being sent... where?!

"Hey, Jim! Thanks again." I nodded before grabbing a slim piece of paper from my mailman. "See ya around." I waved goodbye but I only got a nod back in response. He wasn't a huge talker. I don't even think he likes people.
I went inside my house and to the kitchen, grabbing a knife before gently opening the envelope and reading what sat inside. "What the heck?!" I screamed at the end causing my mother to rush in. "What, what is going on?! Where is the fire?" She said rather quickly. "Oh there's no fire, mama. It's just I was picked to go away somewhere and it says here I have to compete." I point at the writing and she peers over my shoulder. "Ahh, yes. Hmm, what for?" "I'm not sure exactly." I responded before continuing to read more of the letter. This time with my mother by my side. Although, one thing struck me in particular.
