The impact you have had on my heart
Have I known love before
if none other have been able to measure up?
My mind profusely objects to referring to you as anything more than a mistake
My heart yearns for the innocence of a love I have yet to taste
My loneliness
My companion
You keep me in the dark
You make the lowest of men
Occupy space in my heart
I'm just a simple girl
desperate to be loved
So who should I blame
for the constant turmoil that takes place in my heart?
He who has scarred me
likes to play fetch
He throws pretty words
and I run to him back
I'm sure this time I no longer love him
but I've stated this fact before
