Utter destruction!

I woke up with the sun this morning. I quickly got dressed and rushed down stairs. What I saw next made me freeze in my place. The kitchen was........COMPLETELY DESTROYED! There were pots, pans, silverware, and everything else strewn about. It took me a bit to notice that there was a person among the chaos.

"Gon......What happened here?" I looked to the boy.

"Um....."He started to fiddle with his hands.

"Gon...."He hung his head in shame.

"I...uh.....tried to make a cake."I blinked at him.........I burst out laughing.

"Is that what you were doing so late at night?" I said between chuckles. He merely nods, slightly startled by my laughter.

"O.k. Then let's clean this mess up. Once that's done I'll teach you how to make a cake." His usual grin was back.

"O.k!"

~Time-skip~

We cleaned the kitchen and put the cake in the oven by the time that Killua came down. I made the boys breakfast and before they left for training I pulled Gon off to the side.

"Hey Gon, what was the cake for?"

"Oh that, well Killua and I have been together for a whole year now, but we never celebrated his birthday."

"Oh. Well then we'll just have to fix that, won't we."He grins and runs off waving to me. I go upstairs and sit next to Mini Moo.

"Hey Mini what do you think we should do for Killua's birthday?"

"......."

"You're no help at all."
