Quite a few days have passed ever since the first day of school, and yet Komi still hadn't made any friends whatsoever...

She noticed that her class was very serious when it comes to academics, In fact, during class, almost no one would talk to each other, and their focus is locked solely on the lessons being presented in front of them

It was a bit tense for Komi's taste, but one's education is their future after all so she didn't exactly mind

Today was currently lunchtime, and these are usually the only hours in which her class could unwind. Most of them went on to the cafeteria, but there are still about twelve students who were quietly sitting here as they ate their lunch and talked to their friends...while some did continue to stare in Komi's direction, none of them walked in to talk to her

Komi was quite envious, she wanted to go up and join in with them but stopped herself in fear of making the mood awkward

She then realized something, out of everyone in the class she may be the only one who hasn't formed any bond with someone. Even the petite girl who sat in front of her that seemed a bit introverted at first has occasionally talked to many of her classmates...

"Hm..."

She wracked her brains on how she may solve these problems of hers, but It came out blank. Feeling defeated, Komi let out a tired sigh as she ate her bento under the sweet background music being played by the speakers

Until...

["Umm, Mic test, Mic test, Can anyone hear me?"]

The music stopped and Komi along with the rest of their class then suddenly heard a voice from the speakers of their classroom

["Oh it's on? Nice. Good day to all students, At about five pm today at Japanese standard time, we will be holding the student club fair in Gymnasium No.1. All students who are interested in joining the club, please gather there, I reapat-"]

The cheerful voice continued the announcement. The moment Komi heard this, she first felt a bit neutral about It. It'd be a different story if she'll come with a friend, but that wasn't the case

She'll probably just be alone in the crowd while watching others have fun as usual. But Komi thought it to be even more depressing to just continue back home at the dorm, so she decided to go after class...

[---]

"Hmm!"

The moment Komi entered the Gymnasium she was quite surprised. The reason was that there were more people here than she anticipated. Many of the club booths were set up were being swarmed by her fellow first-years who wanted to eye in on the action

They all looked so excited in fact, that only a few students noticed Komi and began to stare, It may not seem like a big deal, but this fact still baffled Komi

"O-Oh, H-Here you go, Miss"

One of the students who looked like a senior handed her a pamphlet containing detailed Information about the activities for the day

She was quite surprised by the number of Clubs on the list, but more than that, she glanced around and saw the facilities being used for the clubs were certainly top-class...Komi didn't really participate in clubs back in the day, but she has learned many sports and other extracurricular activities due to her parents...

Point is, the facilities that she learned those on were nothing compared to the ones here...

She was once again amazed by the budget of this school...
