On the way, there was short conversation that Zero did her best to avoid. Five was half in and out of consciousness, and any answers they'd get would be nothing short of frustrating.

Five sober was something, but drunk five was something else. Zero was amused at the other twos turmoil, and she would not offer them any relief.

Five drunkenly burped and Luther recoiled from how he was holding the boy. "If you vomit on me-"

Please do it.

"You know whats funny?" Five asked lightly, words slurring and tilting his head back in luthers arms so he could see Diego and Zero. "I'm going through puberty. Twice."

"At least you're not a girl." Zero muttered, hands in pockets.

He pointed at her. "True. That would... that would be unfortunate. No offence!"

She grinned to herself. "None taken."

Diego cleared his throat to get them back on track, clearly uncomfortable.

Five looked down at Delores cradled in his arms. "I... I drank that whole bottle, didnt I? That's what you do when the world you love goes bye bye. Poof! Gone."

The other two shared confused glances while Zero kept her face blank.

"What are you guys talking about?" Five asked.

Diego stepped forward. "Two masked intruders attacked the house last night - looking for you," he began seriously. "So I need you to focus. What do they want?"

"Hazel and Cha-Cha... the best of the best." He slurred. "Except for me, of course."

"Tone down the ego," Zero murmured to the side. "Your small body can't contain it."

He tilted his head back, searching for where she was in his vision and pointed lazily at her. "That..." he frowned to himself. "Is true. But rude!"

She shrugged. He carried on rambling

"Delores hates it when I drink. Says it makes me-"

"-hey!" Diego cut in impatiently, raising his voice. "I need you to focus. What do these guys want? We just want to protect you?"

"Funny," Zero said lightly. "Yet I'm the only one sticking by his side."

She was shot two withering looks and smirked, entertained by their disapproval. She wasn't telling any lies.

"Okay, can we not-" Luther started.

"-no! Let's." She began walking backwards, staring straight at the large man as she did challengingly raising an eyebrow. Bolt looked up at his owner strangely but continued walking next to her.

Five's voice cut through the tension between the two.

"Protect me..." he gave a small laugh. "I dont need your protection, Diego. Do you know how many people I've killed?"

Diego and Luther looked down at him and Zero clicked her tongue, walking forwards again.

"Im the four fricking horsemen..." he mumbled to himself, flailing a hand for emphasis. He hiccuped. "The apocalypse is coming."

Zero stepped to the side and tugged Bolt with her just seconds before Five vomited all over Luthers shoes.

She shook her head and continued walking, a smirk on her face as they exclaimed their disgust.

They wanted Five? They'd get Five. Intoxicated or not.

They brought this upon themselves.

Eventually they got to Diego's place, which wasn't really a home, more of a store room at the back of a boxing club/gym. A poor excuse of a place to live but in fairness, she'd slept on the streets before after being kicked out, so she kept her judgements to herself.
