She balled up all the trash and threw it away, halfhazardly wiping up the blood until it looked less like a crime scene. They left and it wasnt hard to spot their siblings gathered around one of the further lanes, sat in a half circle looking glum and uncomfortably quiet.

When they joined the odd looking group, Zero felt eyes on her and ignored them, sitting opposite Klaus who had Bolt lying between his feet under the plastic chair. He trotted over to his owner and carefully investigated her leg, able to smell the blood, and she cautiously held the back of his vest in case he decided to nudge it or paw at it. He seemed to notice her reluctance and sat himself down at her feet obediently.

"Look, I hate to be the one to say this, but everyone needs to prepare," Luther began in a low voice, addressing the group like the leader he believed himself to be.

Zero clenched her jaw and shook her head down at the floor, her other leg bouncing up and down before Bolt laid his paw on her shoe to stop the repetitive habit.

Five was sat next to her, resting his elbows on his knees.

"For what?" Diego asked sharply.

Luther looked around with a grave expression on his face, pausing before speaking. "To do whatever it takes to stop Vanya."

There it was.

Zero chuckled darkly to herself, picking underneath one of her nails at the dried blood she'd failed to get rid of.

She wasn't the only one in objection; he let out a grunt as Allison slapped him on the shoudler with a notebook in her hand that she had been using thus far to communicate. "We may not have a choice, Allison."

"You are such a hypocrite." Zero muttered.

"Bullshit," Diego sat forwards. "There's always a choice."

"Yeah, like what?" The boy next to her asked, skeptical.

Zero's neck nearly snapped with how fast she fixed the last person she expected to speak up in agreement with a stare. Astonished.

"Five." She said in warning. She scanned his eyes but he regarded her blankly, unwavering.

Klaus flicked through a newspaper on the empty plastic chair next to him, staying uncharacteristically quiet.

"Look, whatever we decide, we need to find Vanya," Luther continued. Everyone was looking between the twins and their tense staring match, trying to figure out what was going on between their silent conversation, and the ground as they came to terms with their options. "We need to do it fast. She could be anywhere."

Zero tore her stony gaze away from Five's when her phone buzzed. She checked the screen and shook her head. "I know where she is."

They all stared at her, surprised.

"She's at the Icarus theatre, about to perform as the new first chair in the orchestra."

"How do you know that?" Diego asked.

"Because she fucking invited me." She said back shortly. She forgot about the reminder on her phone. Vanya would be performing in under an hour.

The reality was nothing but bitter now. She wanted to see her sister perform on the biggest night of her life, to show that she was proud, as she always had been with her violin skills. But here she was, about a minute away from having to pull out a PowerPoint presentation on why they shouldn't kill their fucking sister.

Then again, this entire week hadn't exactly gone to plan.

"Right, her concert. Its tonight." Diego nodded in thought.
