CHAPTER - SIX "Family"
"It was good to see you all. My dear friends"
VANYA AND HARRY SAT THERE IN SILENCE. Dumbledore explained everything. They didn't know what to do or say, both of them kept looking at each other than at the Marauders then at Dumbledore, back at the floor
They can't be, right?
"I'll leave you to talk," Dumbledore said, Sirius and Lupin nodded and walked out with him leaving Vanya, Harry, Marlene, Lily and James alone in his office to talk.
They all just stare at each other, not knowing what to do or say. Their dead parents are standing right in front of them still young.
"So....." Marlene cleared her throat
"You-You're my-my parents," Harry said emotionally while looking at James and Lily, they nodded. Harry ran towards them and hugged Lily. She was a bit confused but quickly understood "mom" at this point he was crying "dad" Harry looked at James and hugged him too
"I'm sorry" James whispered "I don't know why our present self doesn't like you but I know you're a good kid, just like your mummy," James told Harry. Lily armed James and blushed at the last part
"We're sorry Harry if we didn't raise you well" Lily apologise. Harry looked at her in confusion then turned to look at Vanya who was just standing back, not knowing what to do
"Vanya?" Marlene called her daughter "Dear aren't you gonna hug me?" She asked nervously. Marlene never got nervous but her daughter was a different case
Vanya didn't reply, she slowly walked towards Marlene and looked at the floor "hey" Marlene pulled her into a big hug.
Marlene is only 17 she doesn't know anything about being a mom but being with Vanya right now makes her happy and comfortable.
Vanya didn't realise the tears in her eyes, she is not the one to cry especially not in front of everyone but she couldn't stop herself.
"I always wanted to see you in person" Vanya whispered while rubbing her eyes.
"I hate my future self for giving you in adoption," said Marlene
"No-you-you never gave me for adoption," Vanya told her then looked at Harry in confusion. James, Lily and Marlene looked at each other
"No, but that Malfoy boy said you were adopted which means I gave you up" Marlene pointed out, Harry rolled his eyes
"No. You-you were" Vanya looked at Harry then at Marlene "you don't know" she gasped "none of you do" she pointed at James and Lily.
"Know what?" James asked
Vanya and Harry shared a look that says how-should-we-tell-them
