Chapter 11

While the nurse tended to Nikhil's injuries, the principal got their files to call their parents. When he was looking through Sai's file, he saw Virat's name listed as her emergency contact.

Principal: Sai, tum ACP Virat Chavan ko jaante hai?

(Sai, you know ACP Virat Chavan?)

Sai got annoyed hearing about Virat as she was already in a bad mood.

Sai: Haan

(Yes)

Principal: Lekin uss din vo yaha aaya tha, aur tum dono ne kuch nahi bola

(But he came here that day, and you both didn't say anything)

Sai looked away trying to think of how to respond.

Sai: Vo...uss din vo yaha kaam ki haisiyat se aaya tha...iss liye

(Well...that day he came here in a working capacity...that's why)

Sai: Aap Virat sir ko kyu call kar rahe ho? Jo bhi baat hai, main akele sambhal sakti hun (Sai said annoyed)

(Why are you calling Virat sir? whatever it is, I can handle alone)

The principal told her he was calling Virat and also Nikhil's parents and Sai remained annoyed. 

Virat was in his office when his phone rang. He answered and the principal told him Sai had gotten into a fight with another student. He immediately got worried

Virat: Kya? Sai theek hai? Chot lagi hai usse? (He asked worried)

(What? Is Sai okay? Is she hurt?)

Principal: Sai theek hai. Chot nahi lagi 

(Sai is ok. She isn't hurt)

Sai looked at the principal when he responded, as she realized Virat was asking if she was ok. Virat felt relieved that she was ok. The principal then asked Virat to come in and Virat said he would be there shortly.

He hurried over to her college

Nikhil's parents also got there and the principal introduced everyone. Nikhil's parents were furious about what happened. They got more angry when they realized Virat was an IPS officer

Nikhil's mother: Aap IPS officer hai iss liye iss ladki ko lagta hai ki vo humare bete ko kuch bhi kar sakti hai 

(You are an IPS officer, so this girl thinks that she can do anything to our son.)

Virat looked at her as if it was the most ridiculous thing he'd ever heard and Sai got mad.

Sai: Maine aapke bete ke saath kya kiya? Apne bete se poochiye na, unhone kya kiya hai (She argued)

(What did I do to your son? Ask your son what he has done)

Nikhil's mother: Dekha kaise baat kar rahi hai humse. Humein bhi maarna chahti hai?

(See how she is talking to us. Want to hit us too?)

Principal: Sab shant ho jao 

(Everyone calm down)

Sai: Main kyu shant ho jaun? Maine kuch bhi galat nahi kiya

(Why should I calm down? I didn't do anything wrong)

Virat: Sai shant ho jao (Virat said sternly)

(Sai calm down)

Sai tried to argue back but Virat watched her sternly and he angrily kept quiet.
